Kagome: Gone For Good?

Will She Stay or Go?

Inuyasha's P.O.V.

When I saw Kikyo's soul collectors I quickly ran after them. I wanted to see her so I could tell her how I felt. Shortly after I left, I ran into her. When she saw me she was baffled. "How did you get through my barrier?" she asked when when I tried to speak. "What barrier?" I questioned in reply. "Don't play dumb, Inuyasha it's very unflattering." "I honestly never saw a barrier." "My Powers truly have weakened." she whispered under her breath.

I thought now would be the perfect time to tell her how I felt. "Kikyo, you don't need to have power. I'm here and I will protect you from anything no matter the cost. Kikyo, I still lov-" Kikyo quickly stopped me by leaning forward and gently pressing her lips against mine. Her lips were like heaven on mine and i wanted the moment to last forever. Just as that thought crossed my mind Kikyo looked toward the trees alarmed. Given my feelings toward her and given the promises I had just made, I had to protect her from whatever was in there. I quickly drew my sword, ready to attack, only to see that the end of Tetsusaiga pointing straight at Kagome.

I saw her fear and watched as tears began to form in her eyes. She turned to run away but I let Kikyo go and tried to grab Kagome's arm. I would have got her if I wasn't delayed by Kikyo. She didn't want me to go but I had to find Kagome. I had to make sure she was okay, so I apologized to Kikyo and ran to the bone eaters well where I thought I would find Kagome trying to go home. As I ran towards it i thought in my head,'I wonder if she'll stay with me or go home forever.'
