Holly’s P.O.V

This is the story of me; of my two best friends and three very, very special young men named Kevin, Joseph and Nicholas. You may know them as the Jonas Brothers, but to us, they are so much more than that. And who am I? Well… you’re about to find out.

Mrs Benson - "Holly! Wake up you’re going to be late!" Came the muffled sound of my Mother’s voice from behind my bedroom door.

Holly - "Okay Mum!" I yelled back.

When I heard her walk away, I snaked a hand out from under my comforter and blindly felt around for the remote for my stereo. When I found it, I hit the play button and "Feelin’ Alive" by The Jonas Brothers came blasting out of the speakers. I threw the covers off of my head and grinned widely, before springing out of bed and rushing over to my laptop.

I sang along with the words as I logged onto Skype and set up a group chat with my two best friends Sienna and Alexis.

Holly – "Okay chicas, are you ready?"

HS&A – "Let’s do it!"

I ran over to my closet and grasped the handles.

Holly – "On three, one!"

Sienna – "Two!"

Alexis – "Three!"

As soon as Alexis called three, we threw open our closet doors and began to rifle through our clothes.

Sienna – "Okay ladies, Senior Year has arrived and we have to look fierce!"

Holly – "Has anyone seen my leather jacket?"

Alexis – "Oops, you left it here last weekend. Do you mind if I wear it?"

Holly – "Of course not, go ahead." I called over my shoulder.

Alexis – "Okay, so leather jacket over… grey tee…. Oh and!"

I spun around and saw Lexi digging through her closet.

Alexis – "Pink high-wasted skirt," she announced as she pulled it out.

Holly – "Uber cute! What about you Sienna?"

Sienna – "Floral dress… white cardigan and… teal sandals."

Alexis – "Classic Sienna, I like it."

We giggled loudly then I turned back to my closet and pulled out a pretty ruffled tank.

Holly – "So I guess you two don’t wanna know what I’m wearing?" I teased as I held it up against my body.

S&A – "Shoes to die for?"

Holly – "Lucky guess." I smirked as I skipped over and sat at my desk.

Sienna – "Okay here’s the plan – "

The rest of her sentence was drowned out by the sound of my door being thrown open. I swiveled around in my chair and saw my older brother Jake walk in.

Holly – "Uh hello every heard of knocking?!"

Jake – "Ever heard of keeping it down?"

Holly – "What are you babbling about?"

Jake – "I can hear you and your music from downstairs… in my room… in the basement."

Holly – "Oh I’m sorry Jake, is it bothering you?"

Jake – "Yes."

Holly – "Well then allow me to fix it for you."

I got up and grabbed my stereo remote from my nightstand and cranked up the volume just as "Tonight" came on.

Holly – "Is that better Jakey?"

He growled at me then stalked out of the room. I giggled as I sat back down.

Sienna – "Nicely done Hol."

Holly – "Why thank you."

Alexis – "By the way, nice tune choice. There’s nothing like the sweet sounds of Jonas to start your morning."

Sienna – "It’s the only way to start your morning."

Holly – "So true, so true."

We laughed again and I moved some hair out of my face.

Sienna – "Okay; forty minutes, main gates, we walk in together. Au revoir."

Alexis – "Adios."

Holly – "Ciao my Jonas Heads."

I logged off and shut my laptop down, then picked up my clothes and headed into my bathroom to shower. 20 minutes later, I emerged fully clothed and took one final glance in the mirror, before grabbing my messenger bag and going downstairs.
