"Violet are you even listening to me?" My friend Ashton says taking me out of my trance.

"Wha-oh sorry." I said.
"It's fine. You've been blanking out a lot lately is everything ok?"
"Yea there's just a lot on my plate right now, but I'll be OK."

"Ok well I'm here if you need anything. I love you V."
"I love you more Ash."

I feel two arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey baby." I hear my boyfriend Calum say in my ear, then kissing my cheek.

"Hey handsome." I say. I turn around and give him a proper hug and a kiss on the cheek. Him and I haven't been dating that long. Only 2 months and we both really respect each other. We haven't even had our first kiss yet. Believe it or not.

"So what are you two doing tonight?" As my other best friend, Michael Clifford walks up and says those words. Ya know the ones I just said.
"Nothing, why?" I say.
"Well my parents are leaving, so I wanted to have a little get together while their gone. Maybe have some drinks and smoke some we-"

RING RING RING RING RING RING

The bell rang, signaling it was time to go to class rang throughout the halls as everyone rushed towards their classes and closed their lockers. Some not even moving. Us 4 doing that last option.

"Well I gotta go see you guys at lunch." I say rushing to my first class.

Algebra II.

The class I hated. The class I dreaded to go to. But apparently we got a new teacher. Mr. Jess apperantly got fired for getting a little to touchy on students way younger than him. Mr. Jess was 60.

I walk through the doors. Expecting maybe an old cranky man. Maybe even a cranky old woman. Or a young nice woman. Or a cool chill male teacher. Who's young. The second I walk in of course the bell has to ring again. Signalling that I'm now late.

I walk in to see a very tall and very handsome and may I mention, young teacher. He was wearing a suit all black. His hair standing up on his head. A little scruff on his face. A lip piercing on his lip. A slim, about 6'4 man. He didn't look any older than 26, I would say.

"You must be..?" The man asks.
"Violet. Violet Harper." I say.
"Well nice to meet you Violet. I'm Mr. Hemmings. You're new algebra teacher." I smiled politely at him.

"Well please Ms. Harper go take a seat anywhere you desire and then we'll get started." He said. I just took a seat in the front row.

That day we didn't learn algebra though. He told us about his life. How he is not married, has no kids, is not in a relationship. That he plays the guitar and sings. How he wanted to be a highschool teacher bc he loves highschoolers, and that he was pretty chill and laid back. And that if we need anything he was here for us. Which I especially liked. He also made a ton of great jokes and puns. I'm already starting to like this guy.
