The Run

Jasmine's POV~

We arrived at Walmart and Alex said " Are you guys ready?'' All of us said " Yeah." I said" We can split the list so, it can be faster to get out of here." I loaded my guns and I got out. I handed Alex half of the list and E'shanti the other half. I said " Call for us if your in trouble." Alex said " We should go to a weapons store, to get more weapon."

Sidney said " Yeah, we should because, we need more ammo and guns." We walked to the entrance and the doors were closed. Alex said " How are we gonna get in now?" I said " Stand back?'' I took my gun out, pointed it at the door and fired two rounds at each door. I said " This is how were gonna get in." I put my gun away, walked in and said " Be careful of the glass and once your done getting the stuff, we'll meet at the entrance.''

We broke up into two groups and went to find our stuff. Alex said " What are we looking for?'' I said" We're looking for water, spam, canned vegetables, canned dried fruits, beef jerky, and jelly beans." He said " Jelly beans? Are you kidding about that?" I said " No, I'm not Alex... We need food to survive and we also need food to not starve and die. ''

He didn't say anything, I turned to my side and Alex was gone. I guess he got tired off my talking and wondered off. I said " Alex where are you?" I didn't hear anything but I heard a crash.. I walked to where I thought the crash was coming from. I saw Alex on the floor and I said " What the hell are you doing on the floor Alex?'' Alex said " I fell trying to get the jelly beans and beef jerky. Duh.'' I laughed and said " Are you serious Alex.. Come on, get off the floor."

I grabbed his hand and got Alex up. He handed me the jelly beans and beef jerky. We continued to walk until I found where the spam, canned vegetables and dried fruits. I said " Grab all the spam canned vegetables and dried fruits and put them in the bag." Then, my bag was full and Alex said "Looks like were gonna have to carry the water." I said " Yep, we are gonna have to carry it." Alex was staring at me. I said" What's wrong?"

He said " Do you like me Jasmine?" I said " Yes, I like you." Alex said " No, I mean do you like like me because, I like like you." I was kinda of shocked by what Alex just said. I said " I don't know. Maybe. I'm only 15 and I don't know how old you are." He said " I'm 17, I was blamed for a crime that I didn't do and I haven't seen a pretty girl since I turned 17.'' I said " Oh, I'm sorry but I like you as a friend and I think your cute." He said " Thanks Jazzy.''

E'shanti and Sidney came out of nowhere carry two boxes of water. I said " I think were done here, we can go back to the prison. We walked out of the entrance but before I could I was pushed against a wall. I looked up to see Alex holding my shoulders to the wall. I said " Alex, let me go. We need to leave now. "

Alex put his finger against my lips and said " Be quiet I want you to enjoy what I'm about to do.." He removed his from my lips and placed his soft, gentle lips on mine. I tried to make him stop but he was too strong for me. I stopped trying and he stopped kissing me. I said " Wow... You're a great kisser.'' Alex said " Thanks for enjoying it.'' I had butterflies in my stomach, I think I like like Alex.

I leaned into him and kissed his soft lips and that's when I knew that I liked Alex. Alex said " We... We should go now and get back to the prison." I said " Y..yeah we should." We walked out, got into the car and we left Walmart to go to the gun store. I also noticed that Alex hand was touching mine. I guess what they say is true love is in the air of a zombie apocalypse!
