*TWO YEARS AGO*

    "Alcye Kilzen? Alcye?" The little blonde girl called me up, but she prounced my name as Alex, I sighed not really caring.

         I ran up on the stage and took in a deep breath, as the blinding light blurred my vision.

    "Hurry up, we havent all day," a male voice called out.

                                 I stuttered, "Okay" I pulled up my jet black gutair and strung out the first two strings

 "Stop what do you think this is Emo Island?! Get the bloody fuck off our stage Mr.Alex." He dissmissed  me, frowning I stopped and floated off the stage.

I grabbed my gutiar case on the way out and hurried out the backdoor, brushing off tears that weild in my eyes.

    "Hey wait up dude," a man dress as only as flashy as possible ran over to me.

          I stopped and turned to face him, "Man you were killing it out there, Im sorry they kicked you off."

          I mumbled my thanks.

         "Hey listen," he went on,"I work at this recording studio we're looking for hot young lads like you," He paused and smiled at me.

       My throat tighnted, I wanted to scream at him, I wanted to punch him square in the jaw, I wanted to get my long hair back. I wanted people to stop mistaking me as a boy, but instead I swallowed and smiled up at him, "Really?"

            "Yeah man, just stop by the studio tomarrow and we'll get it all started up." He laughed and handed me his card.

                         *PRESENT*

    I thought back, I shouldnt have excepted that card I should have explained to him what was really between my legs, but its to late. I should have explained. But now every girl in America screams the wrong name at me, now I am known as Alyce (Alex), never again as Alyce (Alexis).
