CHAPTER 4---------
Jeanette-age 17. I woke up, and spit out a mouthful of water. What? Where am I? I thought. Then I remembered. I was waiting for Aaron on the Lupus shoreline. He hadn't come. I guess I had fallen asleep. I was lucky no one had found me. "Hello," called a deep voice. Crap. I had been discovered. Wait- maybe it was Aaron! "Are you OK?" the voice came closer. It wasn't Aaron's. I looked up and saw a tall, muscular guy who had sandy blonde hair and deep dimples, and a beautiful complexion. Yet, I was disappointed. It wasn't Aaron. "Dang, I knew the shore brought in some major waves, but it's never brought in babes before," he laughed, flashing a smile. I stared blankly. "I'm Matt," he said, holding out his hand. I took it, and he stood me up. "I'm Jeanette," I said politely. "Yes, you are," he said, checking me out. I took it as a compliment. "So do hot chicks always wash up here?" he asked with a radiant smile. "No," I said, "I'm looking for Aaron." "Aaron?" he said, smiling. His face then turned a bit worried. "You're the girl aren't you?" he said with eyes wide. I looked at him confused. "The girl he met the other night? He hasn't stopped talking about you...no wonder," he checked me out again. I blushed, "Where is he?" He scratched his hair nervously. "He went to find you," he said. "WHAT? How did he know where I lived?" I asked. Did he know I was a vampire? I wondered to myself. "He doesn't. He just knew you were a human, so he headed to America to find you," he said with a shrug. "How the heck does he think he will be able to find me. The whole America? That's crazy," I said sadly. "Yeah," said Matt with a nervous grin, "Don't tell him I told you this, but that guy is crazy in love with you." I smiled, "Is there any way I can find him?" "He left on a boat last night, just before sunset," he said trying to remember. "Thank you, Matt," I said kissing his cheek and jumping in the water. He looked up with a grin, "You sure you don't wanna stay? I mean...if things don't work out with Aaron..." "Sorry, I think I might just be in love with Aaron," I said surely. And I swam off.
*** Matt-age 20. Dang she was hot. Aaron was lucky. I watched her swim off. She was a fantastic swimmer for a human. She gave off this attraction that made me want her so bad. I normally wouldn't hit on my best friends girl, but I couldn't help it. She was SO hot. I thought about her all night.
*** Aaron-age 18. I had arrived in America. It was so different from what I had expected. There were so many sounds, colors, and cars. "Welcome to New York City," I read aloud, looking at the big blue sign. I found my way to the library where I grabbed a computer. I was going to see how many Jeanettes there were in America. I typed J. Wait how did she spell her name? There were so many ways to spell her name. This was going to be a long week.
*** Jeanette-age 17. I took at boat to America. The only boat that came yesterday was headed to New York. So I swam, using all my strength to the nearest boat that went there. Vampires are phenomenal swimmers. Some of us disguise as sharks so we can kill. I would never do that, though. I sat on the boat, anxious to see Aaron. When I arrived at New York, I was greeted by a sign that read, 'Welcome to New York City.' I glanced above the sign and saw a five story library. That was one place I knew he would NOT be. Now I had about another million places to search. This was going to be a long week.
