Pretty Lies

Hey everyone! Thanks for the votes and the beautiful comment! I've been super busy, and honestly kinda depressed lately. I'm going to The Melting Pot later with my dad which is cool. I turned 16 on Monday, so there's that too. Anyways, on with the the story.

(Y/n) felt like a fake. She smiled and acted happy in front of everyone, especially Wasabi. She was certain that the only way to get him to like her was to be beautiful. She opened up to Gogo, telling her everything.

 "I bet Wasabi likes you." Gogo teased as (Y/n) blushed, holding a pillow to her warm face.

"Doubt it, but I'd be glad if he did. I've put so much effort into it!" (Y/n) smiled despite herself. Gogo's face looked confused.

"What, what do you mean?" She asked, her brow furrowed.

"Well, I put a lot of time into everything I do. I spend time on my hair, on my makeup, on what I'm going to say..." (Y/n) stopped when she saw Gogo's face. "What?" 

"(Y/n), he loved you when you joined SFIT. You don't need to do anything." Gogo explained. 

(Y/n) laughed bitterly. "Gogo, don't lie to me." 

Gogo shrugged. "Whatever. Night." But as she turned out the light and (Y/n) dozed off to sleep, Gogo stayed up thinking about what she had said. 

"Gogo Tomago!!!!" (Y/n) was furious. She held Gogo's note in her hands and searched frantically through everything to find her beauty supplies. 

She checked the time. Either she left now, or she was late for school. Sighing, she threw on some clothes and rushed out the door.

"Hey, (Y/n)." Gogo singsonged.

"Go die in a hole." She muttered before slamming the door to her lab in Gogo's face.

She started working on her robot when there was a knock on the door.

"(Y/n), it's me, Wasabi. I brought (your favourite food)." 

"Not hungry." The door opened and Wasabi walked in.

"What's wrong?"

"I tried so hard to be pretty and to be likeable. Nevermind." She sighed, trying not to cry.

"(Y/n), you're gorgeous. I love you." Wasabi whispered, wrapping her in a tight hug. "You're perfect for me."
