Queen Aria
My name is Aria. It means high and high I am. I am the daughter of Celebrimbor the Ringmaker. I am the wife of Sauron, but I called him that just in case you did not know his real name is Mairon. I am the queen of Mordor.
I beliave you know the story how Eregion fell. Then you must think Mairon forced me to marry him. That is not true. If I hated him, I would have rather killed myself than marry him. I had secret feelings for him since he came into my father's kingdom, disguised as Annatar. You think my decision of accepting his proposal naive and selfish, don't you? Well, I was very young, but not naive or stupid. My feelings was the last reason why I came into Mairon's arms.
You know, in Mordor women actually are wery respected, especially if they are wise and powerful. They are equals to men. Among the noblemen, there is a tradition called "the Bride's Trial". When a man chooses a maiden he wants to marry, she can give him any task to check if he is worthy of her. If he suceeds, he is, if he doesn't, he is not and she can kick him away freely. And there is also "the Princess' Trial". If you are a pricess of any land, you can give your suitor three tasks.
I wasn't really a princess, but Mairon treated me as one. My tasks to him were to spare my parents (as my father was already killed, he had to be brought back to sanity after he is bannished from death. I knew he will be, I have a gift of foresight), to relasey remaining people and to destroy the Ring (If Mairon didn't himself, others would and that will be his downfall. If he does, he will get his powers back). For surprise, he did everything (people of Middle Earth still think the Ring exists though. Only a copy with the power of illusions, sense-sharpening and corrpution does. I sense they will find out the truth soon), so he won my hand. We were wed after a month and I became his queen.
My life in Barad-Dur is anything but bad. I am loved by people for supporting them and being able to tame my husband's wrath. Mairon, despite being the Dark Lord, is the gentlest and most caring man. We truly love each other. Even my mother Alkquaven softetened towards him, hating him from all her heart at first. From all the gifts Mairon ever gave me the greatest is Goranoth - our son.
Goranoth was born two years ago. It was a very pleasant surprise to us and my mother when I conceived as we didn't suceed for a long time. Although we have an adopted son - Ariendil. He was a bastard of a noble numenorean lady and her manservant. His mother hated Ariendil ( Adunaron back then ) and hurt the poor child badly, treatening him worse than a slave. Me and Mairon, on the other hand, fell for the boy and took him away from his abusive mother, bringing great joy to her and much greater to us and him. We renamed him and raised him as our own. Mairon influenced Ariendil with his own immortality, so he, despite being born a mortal, can live thousands of years without aging. Ariendil grew up handsome. I'm proud of him. He is a very powerful sorcerer and swordsman. He is now a general of Barad-Dur, mostly known as the Black Hand.
Ariendil was sent to the Black Gate, now inhabited by rangers of Gondor. Bringing my father to sanity requires a cruel ritual. Although the end will be not so cruel for those who will be sacrificed as they will be resurrected. Thanks to one maiden. The daughter of the ranger's captain. Ariendil's wife-to-be.
I am smiling now. It is not cruel, but gentle smile. A smile of a mother joyful for her son. I will do everything I can for him and his chosen to be happy.

* Hello there! :) I am new to wattpad and this is the first fanfic I publish. It is about Mordor, but it will be a romance story. I don't know why I like so much romance fanfics about Sauron and his dark boys. Perhaps I just love them, especially Sauron, and beliave they still have some good in them. No offense to professor, that's just my mind. :) And ever since I saw the cutscenes of Shadow of Mordor, I started shipping Sauron with Celebrimbor's daughter. I know, I know, I'm a freak. :) I just think they could be a beautiful couple if she had a chance to grow up. Think about it, Annatar! Aria (as I named Celebrimbor's daughter), Sauron and also Goranoth (who's a sweetheart babe, you'll learn it soon ^^) and Celebrimbor's wife Alquawen will be some of the main characters here. The other's will be the Black Hand (I'll soon tell you what inspired me to think him as Sauron's son or at least stepson) and Talion's daughter. Also Hammer with someone will come up a litlle later.
