Chapter 10: Reuniting

I woke up with two texts. First was from George informing me that he's busy but he'll try his best to catch up later.. That he will meet me at 5. The second text was from Tobias, he was checking on Emma, he wanted us to meet me so we could talk.

I seriously don't know what to do. George and Tobias both of them wanted to meet me today.. Maybe it's a good idea to make them start all over again, make them be friends again, who knows maybe that would help. 

I text George telling him that it's okay and I'll meet him at our usual coffe shop. I sent another text for Tobias telling him that I'll meet him at 4:30 and informed him the place. I wanted to be with Tobias early because I know that he won't stop asking about last night. I think it's a good idea to convince him with something and then distract him by making him help us to find Henry. I just hope that they'd forget the past and make a new start.

I was ready at 3:50 already I was nervous about today. Will they accept being friends again? Or they'll get mad from my stupid thought? I'm hoping for the best. Emma woke up earlier today, she was still shocked from yesterday, I calmed her down, and made her sleep again. I guess sleeping is the best medicine for her right now..

It was 4:20 already and I found a knock on my door. I guess Tobias was in a hurry. "Come on in." I said with a simple smile letting him in.

"Sorry for coming early, I couldn't wait any longer, plus I've received a strange text today from Henry? It made me more confused." he said with a nervous and awkward smile.

I found it cute, No Jane focus. "Erm, It's okay, I was overthinking about last night too." I said smiling a bit.

I found Tobias looking at my outfit "I assume. You got extra ready eh?" he commented, winking. I couldn't handle it but I have to control myself, after all we're still in the "friend zone" as they say.

"What about the text?" I asked changing the subject, I'm not ready for flirting and such things, I want to find out by myself no pressures. Tobias was still smiling.

"Oh! About that." he said pulling out his phone and started to read the text. "Well, It said that I have to stay away from you? That yesterday was something small to prove to me that you're dangerous? I still don't get it but that won't make me stay away from you or give up on us anyway." he continued putting a huge smile on his face.

"Well, Was there any signiture?" I said not focusing with Tobias reaction.

He might be in real danger. "Yes. There was, It was signed by Henry? But I wonder why Henry would text me something as stupid as that?" he was asking more than commenting.

I hesitated for a second, I don't know wether to tell him or not, in both sides he's in danger with me " I don't know." that's all I said.

We decided to go out.. After all Tobias forgot some of the places and that place was new. Tobias was driving us.

We were silent. I was actually thinking about everything. Why would whoever is texting by the name of Henry do that with Tobias? Why would he say that I'm dangerous and he has to stay away for his safety? Where did that came from?

I was disturbed by Tobias "What are you thinking about?" he asked, looking to me with a great smile on his face.

For a moment I stopped thinking. "Stuff..." I said.

He looked at me with a weird look "What stuff?" he asked but this time he was serious.

"Well you know..." I paused for a moment and he gave me a glance to continue. "It's ... Nothing important." I said smiling back.

"Well you can share you know... Just to entertain me." he said winking.

He looked again to watch the road "Haha .. Just focus on the road already." I giggled. There was a huge smile on his face again...
