*CHAPTER TWO*

**Kierra's POV**

***ONE HOUR LATER***

I was day dreaming about food when my mommy called me. "Kierra the Horan's are here!!!" "Okay mommy!!!" I yelled back as I ran down stairs into our living room filled with boxes.

When I got down to the third last step, I jumped and made it. "And I stick the landing!!!" I yell to no one in particular. "Kierra these are the Horan's. Niall and his mom Maura." I just stared at both of them and blushing. 'I bet they saw me jump off the stares and heard what I said' I thought.

"Kierra be polite and say hi." My mommy told me with a encouraging look. "Uh...H-hi" I said stuttering a little. The boys mom came up to me and bent down. "Hi dear I'm Maura Niall's mom. That was a very impressive jump you did there." She said winking at me. "Thank you." I said in a whisper.

"Niall come over here and say hi to Kierra." Maura told Niall. The boy who I assumed named Niall walked up to me and looked down. "Hi." He said while barely making eye contact. I said a simple hello back and looked at my now interesting socks.

"Why don't you and Niall go outside and play soccer, Kierra?" My mommy said. I just nodded and went upstairs to get my soccer ball. "Uh...come on Niall." I said looking at him. He looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back and nodded my head to the back door, and we both started walking that way.

After me and Niall kicked the soccer ball around outside, my mom yelled that it was time to eat. I was really hungry. "I'll race you back Niall!" I said with a smirk on my face. He looked at me and grinned. "It's on kierra!"

"Ready....set....CHEESEBURGER!!!!" I yelled as Niall ran a little. He then stopped when he figured out that I didn't say go. He looked at me and gave me 'did you really do that' look. I just laughed and put on a innocent smile on. "Ok sorry I had to do that!" I said laughing a little. He chuckled and got back to his starting position. "Ok.....ready......seeet......GO!!" I yelled as I started running.

I ran into the house with Niall on my tail. I ran to the kitchen and screamed "I WON I WON!!! MUHAHAHA!!!! I WIIIN!!! IM THE CHAMPION!!!"

My mommy just looked at me with a disapproving Look, while my father was laughing and Maura smirking.

Niall came running in right after my outburst. He just stared at me and then smiled. "Your a pretty fast runner!" He said. "Thanks" I said blushing.

After dinner the Horan's went home and it was time for me to take a bath and go to bed. While I was laying in my new big girl bed, I was thinking of how me and Niall were going to be best friends. As I was thinking I slowly fell into a peaceful sleep.
