Liam's POV

After I said goodbye to Kierra, I walked back into the school. What she told me back there was hard to believe. There must be a good reason why Niall would bully her.

I looked around to find Niall and I finally spotted him with Hannah. I walked up to them.

"Hey Niall, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked.

"Uh sure Liam, see you in a second babe." He said to Hannah.

We walked over to the corner of the gym.

"Okay Niall Kierra told me about what happened to you two." I tried to say as simple as possible. His face went pale and he looked at the ground.

"W-what all did she tell you?" He stuttered.

"Since you guys were best friends to you bullying her and till now."

"Oh..." Was all he said then he scratched the back of his neck.

"So why did you do it?" I asked.

"Do what?" He asked me looking confused.

"Why did you bully her? She said that you guys were inseparable and were really close friends."

"Um....." He sighed before continuing," we'll when we were 14 my friend Nick told me that if I didn't bully her than um....he would ruin my reputation at school. Then three years later was the time I had to bully her. And I've regretted it since that day Liam, and if I could go back to that say I would and change everything. But u can't. It's too late and she hates me." He said tears building up in his eyes.

I pulled him into a hug and pulled away, "it's fine Niall. You just have to tell her the truth. And one more question."

"I will try Liam, and what's the question?" He asked.

"Did you love her?" I asked looking him in the eyes.

"Y-yes Liam I did. I really did. And I cried every night because I was ashamed I bullied the girl I loved. I still wear the best friend necklace I have. She has a different one that has the letter 'N' on it." He said showing me his necklace.

"Niall you need to tell her. It won't get any better if you keep it to yourself."

"But Liam what if she doesn't listen?! Have you seen her when she gets mad? I just don't want both of us to get hurt again." He looked down at the floor then sighed.

I closed my eyes then opened them again, "Niall just....do what you think is best for the both of you." I said then walked away. I hope he makes the right decision.

Niall's POV

After Liam walked away I looked at my necklace again. I really don't know what to do. If I tell her the truth she will probably still hate me. But if I don't then It would make everything worse. I guess the only thing I can do.

I will have to tell her the truth.

Kierra's POV

I got out of my car and went into my house. I closed the door behind me and went to the kitchen.

I grabbed a water bottle and went into the living room and sat down on the couch.

I got up and took the cushion seat I was sitting in and pulled it off. I grabbed the little box I keep under it.

I opened it up and grabbed the necklace Niall gave me. For some reason I just couldn't throw it away.

It's pretty much the only thing I have of him and it makes me feel like it keeps us together like old times.

I put the cushion back ad stared at the necklace. I wonder if Niall still wears his.

He probably doesn't. Why would he anyways? He hates me and always has. And to think that I thought we would be best friends for life.

Not everything goes to plan.
