~Hazel Lynn~
Unexpected things happen when you let your guard down; just like last night. My body is currently dripping in sweat. I have no clue if that is due to Felix laying next to me or the unsettling amount of embarrassment that I have experienced in the last twenty-four hours. My mind is fuzzy from the heat.
Yeah. The heat coming off of Felix's body is making my mind fuzzy. Not that he is currently asleep in my bed. My heart rate begins to speed up as the panic begins to set in. There is a big bulging arm laying across my body, pinning me down into the mattress. My only chance of getting up and leaving this bed, is to remove that arm in some way.
"Where do you think you are going?" His voice startles me in my attempt to raise his arm.
"Clothes." One word is all he is getting since I am starting to remember that I am currently naked.
Mental face palm, Hazel. How did you even get yourself into this situation again?
"You are not going anywhere." The warmth of his breath fans across my body as he snuggles his head into the crook of my neck. "Stay here with me." His hand begins to wonder across my belly, upwards.
In one fluid motion, I toss his arm off my body, which by the way, seemed to weight twenty pounds alone. Maybe I am just that weak? Well, I, personally, would have no doubt about that. After his arm is off of me, I take the chance to stand up out of the small cramped bed, and grab my towel from the night before.
"What are you doing?" Felix demands as he sits up on to his elbows.
"What does it look like?" Gripping the towel, I puff my chest out and straighten my shoulders to try to make myself seem taller. Felix raises an eyebrow in my direction.
He smirks as he stands up from the bed, showing off his chiseled chest. When did he even take his shirt off? "Why don't you play hooky for the day?" A slow step in my direction.
My grip on the towel loosens a bit, bringing his eyes down to where my hand is currently gripping the towel in a death grip. Without another word, I whip around and rummage through my dresser for something to wear. The floor boards creak as Felix takes another step forward. My body tenses up a bit with the movement.
A huff comes out as I turn back towards him. "Do you mind?"
"No. Not at all." He smiles. He wraps a finger around a strand of my hair and twirls it. "Something tells me that you don't mind either."
"Would you be so kind and please give me some space?" I am surprised that my voice is even normal.
Felix throws his hands up and takes a step back. I finally manage to get a good look at him. Felix does not disappoint with his body. It takes me a minute to pry my eyes away from the bulge he is hiding. Felix catches my eye and gives me a knowing smile. A slight flush comes across my face as I divert my attention elsewhere.
"I have to report to the alpha in ten minutes."
"My father can wait. It's not like he will do anything, anyways." He shrugs his shoulders.
"Oh, nut he would." I poke his chest. "Especially when he finds out where you have been all night." Felix tenses up. "You know he would not hesitate to punish me. You and I both know that he will not touch a hair on your head."
His body tenses at my words, making him uncomfortable. "Felix," He brings his eyes up to meet mine. "You are a great guy or at least you have the makings to be one. But! I am at the bottom of the pole while you are at the top. I have no idea why you have any interest in me, but please leave me alone."
