A knock at the door breaks the intense feeling that is floating between us. I clear my throat and open the door. Alex instantly narrows his eyes in Felix's direction but the curly haired girl standing behind him draws my attention. She snaps her bubble gum and glances at her nails in boredom.

"What is he doing here?" Alex continues to glare in his direction.

The mattress squeaks as Felix stands. "We were talking." Alex looks at me.

"Will you be alright with him?"

"Felix is not his father." Alex slowly relaxes. "Or at least I have yet to see him act like his father. He takes more after his mother than anything."

"This is Kiya." Alex steps to the side to introduce the girl behind him. "Luna Brooke wanted someone to assist you to get ready for tonight."

Kiya steps forward and enters my room without saying a word. She stops and looks at Felix with a raised eyebrow. Watching her look at Felix the way she is, makes me visibly uncomfortable. It almost seems like she is undressing him with her eyes, and I don't like it. A low rumble bubbles up out of my chest, making Kiya jump in surprise. Felix smirks in my direction as my face flushes red from embarrassment.

"Felix," Alex draws the attention towards him. "If you will follow me, clothes have been laid out for you and your future beta."

"No problem." Felix steps forward, around Kiya, plants a kiss on the top of my head and leaves the room without another word.

The door closes and there is a bit of awkward silence between the two of us. She begins to set up her bag that I never noticed before on a table. Kiya begins to pull out many different items out of the bag, some long and skinny, some small, all of different colors, some even have fur on the ends.

"Alright, sit down so we can get started." She snaps her gum again and points towards the empty chair. "We have two hours to get you ready and we have a lot of work to do." She drags her eyes along my body, almost judging the way I look.

She probably knows more about this stuff than I will ever know. So, I decide to sit my butt down in the chair in front of her.

~~~
Almost three hours later, Kiya declares me done. Glancing in the mirror, my eyes widen in surprise. My hair is up in an elegant style with stands falling out in random places. My face looks the same, but so mature at the same time. My eyes look so much rounder and noticeable than before. Everything about me is unrecognizable.
She hands me a sash. I just look at her in confusion. "You really don't know anything do you?" Kiya groans as she snatches the sash away from me and throws it over my shoulders. "Now, you are late. Fashionably so."
"Where do I even go?" My heart jumps when I hear my voice come out of the stranger that is standing in the mirror.
She rolls her eyes. "Come on."
Without another word, Kiya leaves me in my room, giving me no choice but to follow after her.
"What is taking Hazel so long?" Zane proceeds to pour himself some punch.
Zane places a cup of punch in my hands. "Chill out, dude. Alpha Aeryn has a strong pack, and he would not let anything happen to his daughter. Especially not after just getting her back."
"Young Alpha! Where is my daughter?" Luna Brooke interrupts our conversation.
"I left her in her room to get ready. I am also eagerly waiting on her to show as well."
