I simply cannot hide under my rocks
For the rocks are too sweet to crush me.
I whisper my thoughts to them
Hoping they might come help me.
They hear my cries and shield me with a hug
One of comfort and warmth and safety.
They sometimes have to leave me,
Alone and afraid without bravery.
Whenever I'm by myself They whisper
Terrible, horrible, things to me.
In a whispering voice so scary and deep
It pulls me down to the bottom.
So I ask you today
My shields, my rocks.
HELP ME AND DONT
EVER LEAVE
ME!
