As I walked out in to the light of the sun,
I see a girl standing upon a hill.
Shes inspired and ready to run,
Around and around wanting to feel,
The soft dirt on her clean feet.
She jumps for joy and looks at me.
A smile and a wave, an action I repeat.
The beauty in her is the glimmer in her eyes.
She's not broken, or torn, she perfect.
She innocent and sent from heaven.
She couldn't stop the smile on the surface
None of her happiness was pretend.
The Girl on the hill, the dream in my heart.
But it's too late for me.
That girl on the hill has the right,
To be inspiring, amazing, and free.
