Failed Vacation

Lily's pov

I was in the car now, on a trip to one of our vacation houses. Four hours had already past, and the only people I had with me were Nina and my mom, which i was not excited about. "Hey Nina not trying to sound needy or anything butttttt, can you hand me the heated blanket?" I asked and she smiled a little and handed me the blanket, which I wrapped around me like a cocoon.

I heard the facetime app go off on my phone, so I picked up my phone and answered it."Lily! How's the trip going?" Kaoru asked. " Its going great! Except I've been stuck in the car for 4 hours with my mom ugh." I said back to him.
"Oh yeah Happy Birthday Honey~Senpai!" I said seeing the small light mop of hair in the background.

"Thanks Lily~chan!!" he said happily. " So Kaoru how are you holding up? being with Boss for so long? Wait.. You haven't told him about the trip yet have you!? that would be awful!" I fretted. " Not yet I plan on telling him once your there, so that his father instincts will kick in, and he'll come to you with the a jet or something over the top like that." Kaoru said rolling his eyes.

"well I'm gonna-" I was saying then a sound like a gunshot was heard outside. I groaned, "Lily are you okay?" Kaoru asked worriedly. I gave a dry laugh. "Yeah im fine but looked like we just popped a tired dang." Kaoru, still worried, asked "Should I tell Boss sooner? We can come get you??" I smiled at the reply and thanked him "Thank you, but it's okay! it won't take that long to fix! It's just a minor set back!" Karou looked doubtful and gave a little "okay then." and then started talking about the next prank plans.

They were almost done setting it up when a women's strict voice broke the conversation. "Lillian Kouen Rose, stop talking to random people and take a nap and be useful i don't have time for you to get injured and ruin those eyes of yours, no body would want a blind girl."
I nodded and gave a "yes ma'am" with a sigh and told kaoru "Good bye!!" to which he responded with a "See ya later!".

I decided to take my mothers advice (for once) and take a nap already wanted this trip to be over.

When i woke up, however, i notice the familiar scenery of our property. I looked over at Nina, extremely confused. She gave a small smile and said " Miss Rose decided it would be best to return instead of going through with our plans." I smiled and mouthed a thank you to Nina, and decided to spend my time the rest of the day, the way a day should be spent, napping for as long as possible and playing video games when you can't nap no more.
