You’d think red carpets are fun but here’s what I think.

Hell no.

They may be fun at first with the smiling, posing and the flashes of the camera but when you’re halfway there, your cheeks will start aching and you’ll probably be blind at the end of the night.

I haven’t seen Louis yet but maybe it’s for the best. Nathan’s band is nearing towards the stream of celebrities and I’m guessing Louis’ band would be by the end.

“Thank God,” I exclaimed when we were already inside the overwhelmingly lavish building. Nathan, who had his arm around me the entire time and still not letting go- not that I mind- and the rest of his band mates laughed at me.

Tom smiled at me. “Better get used to it, Sandy.”

“It’s not like it’s easier for any of us,” Jay added. “You think we fancy going here at this premiere?”

I merely laughed at them. I didn’t fancy being here either. Seeing Simon Cowell and Katy Perry here was nice though.

“Lads, let’s try to be nice,” Max reminded them. He’s the only one who seemed matured at the moment.

Siva groaned in response. “No promises.”

Soon we were settled in a dining hall. The movie doesn’t start until 9 and everyone’s got two hours to spare- and then I saw him. I actually think I’m getting better at this. I’m no longer and emotional wreck and I think that I’m just sorta numb right now. Sort of.

Louis didn’t change. He was still sill and stupid and an idiot- probably more of the latter- and he still had that charming smile. He looks really adorable actually.

Stop it, Sandy.

“You okay?” Nathan asked with a worried look on his face.

“Oh no, I’m fine,” I answered him. “I just want their speech to be over with so we can already eat.”

He wrapped his arm around my shoulders as he let out a small chuckle. He gave me a quick peck on the lips and I just wanted to pull him to me and kiss him hard. “I could smuggle you a piece of cake from the buffet table if you’d like,” He whispered on my ear with his low and raspy voice.

Before I could reply to him, I jumped a loud booming sound echoed through the hall. We turned to look at the stage only to find Louis the idiot who dropped his mike. He was looking at Nathan and I. For a second he looked furious but as soon as his girlfriend finally got his attention, he plastered a cheeky smile on his face and apologized to everyone.

His girlfriend- who I found out whose name was Eleanor- wrapped her arms around Louis’ waist and seems to be talking about something animatedly. Although, Louis wasn’t giving her his full attention, I couldn’t help but think of how pretty she is and how plain I am compared to her.

Louis caught me looking at them and winked. He pulled El to him and kissed her passionately. The crowd started cheering and I could see some photographers snapping photos of the couple.

I shook my head in annoyance and disappointment before excusing myself to go to the comfort room. It was empty, as all of the guests apparently didn’t want to miss the entrance of One freaking Direction.

I just wanted this night to be over with.

Sitting on the countertop, I brought out my phone and decided to send an iMessage to all of my girls:

“Someone kidnap me now please.”

Within seconds, their replies began flooding in.
