Davina's P.O.V

*A Few Days Later*

Kelli and Josh basically lived at our house now, they were almost always there hanging out with us. When we got home that night, once we'd waited for Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah to wake up, Kol and Kat had told us they were engaged which was followed by a party planned by Klaus of course. The main point is, things were finally starting to look up.

I was sat in mine and Elijah's room listening to music on my phone when I suddenly heard shouting from downstairs. Turning off my music, I began running down the stairs and into the back garden to see Kol holding Kat in his arms edging closer to the pool while she screamed for him to put her down.

Kelli and Josh were sat on to sun loungers, probably talking about SVU, Rebekah, Klaus and Hayley were swimming around in the pool with sunglasses on and Elijah was nowhere to be seen. That was until I felt two arms go around my waist.

"Morning 'Lijah." I smiled.

"Good morning, Davina." Elijah whispered into my ear just as Kol threw Kat into the pool with a big splash.

"I HATE YOU, KOL MIKAELSON!" Kat screamed jokingly as she emerged from under the water.

"I love you too, Kat." Kol smirked in reply.

We spent that day messing around in the pool, pushing the guys in a lot, shouting at Kelli and Josh for randomly bursting into the intro of SVU and not really having a care in the world. It was great not having to think about the hundreds of enemies the Mikaelsons had and how that was putting Kat, Kelli, Josh and I in danger and it was great not having to think about how broken this family usually was.

"SVU is legal guys!" Kelli shouted while staring at her phone.

"What?" Josh jumped up from the sun lounger.

"SVU has officially signed on for the 18th season!"

Both of them started squealing and jumping around while everyone just laughed at them. The sun was setting slowly, and although we all knew tomorrow probably wouldn't be the same, we didn't care because right now, everything was perfect.

Kol and Kat wanted to get married in winter, which wasn't all that long away. Kat was excited to get a dress and finally get married to the one she's known for 3 years. When Kat first told us, she instantly told me I had to be the maid of honour and then asked Hayley, Rebekah and Kelli, after she got to know her, to be her bridesmaids.

Sure, this family was broken and this family probably wasn't ever going to be fixed, but that didn't matter when we had days like then because we put all of our many problems behind us and just lived in the moment with no arguments, no death and definitely no Tyler Lockwood. Even though these people weren't the best people to get involved with, I would do it again any day.
