"M-Mom?" I stuttered. I was in complete shock. I haven't laid eyes on my mom since the day she kicked me out.

"Surprise" Jaylon said rubbing my back.

"Whitney.. My baby. You're so beautiful." My mother grabbed me into a hug. I was still shocked and couldn't react.

"I missed you so much." My mom let me go and I seen tears stream down her face.

It was like my mouth wouldn't let me speak but my mind was running faster than anything. I had so many questions to ask her. Before I could even form the words that's when I seen Shawn and Lauren come to the circle with smiles on their faces.

"You two knew about this??" I questioned Lauren and Shawn.

"Yes she's been here two weeks. We wanted to surprise you." Lauren said as her smile faded

"Yeah we thought you would be happy." Shawn added on

My body instantly grew hot all over. "You thought I would be happy so see you after you left us without anything?? What the hell? Then you want to come in here and act like we can just pick up where we left off? No it don't work like that." I yelled causing people to stare

"Whitney calm down. It was my idea and I just honestly want to talk to you about us." My mom tried grabbing my hand before I yanked it back.

"Baby we wanted you to be happy and I promi-" Jaylon started

"Shut the hell up Jaylon. Didn't nobody ask you shit and as for you, I don't want to head shit you have to say." I turned my attention to my mother.

"Whitney chill out!" Lauren stepped forward

"Aye can we please do this somewhere else? If you didn't know we are in a room full of people that don't need to know our family business." Shawn said stepping in between Lauren and I.

"Where is my baby?" I questioned

"Tete has her." Jaylon sighed scratching his head

"I'm going home. Fuck this bullshit." I brushed past everyone in search of my child.

I heard Jaylon yelling my name but I just honestly wanted to be as far away as possible from my mom. I'm not even sure if i can call her that now. What kind of mother just up and abandons their own children?

"What's wrong with you? I thought you would be happy to see her." Tete asked concerned

"Oh so you knew too?" I scoffed and almost yanked Karls baby bag off her shoulder

"Look Whitney it was for a good cause." Tete said looking at me

"Whatever, give me my baby." I didn't even make contact as I put the bag on my shoulder

Tete sighed and handed me a sleeping Karls. After she was situated in my arms, I walked to the door.

I soon got to the car and hit the unlock button so I could put Karls in. As I was strapping her in, I heard footsteps come up behind me.
