"Looking for someone?"

"What the fuck do you think your doing, fucking faggot, get the hell off her!" my eyes squinted as I took a few steps forward. I shook my head and as I got closer to him the anger inside of me began to build up more and more, heaving the tension between us. "I'll kill you!" I screamed, pouncing forward with my hands flat against his chest, pushing him off Olivia. A small squal came from her perfectly formed lips as both me and Josh crawled forward towards her.

"Kill me, I kill her." Josh growled quietly, his arm wrapping around her neck from behind before I could get to her, a little black gun wrapped around his spare hand which was dug into the side of Olivia's head, large fingers wrapped tightly around it. "It's your choice, Shelley." he snalled. Olivia's weeps made my heart shutter into a million pieces, my eyes began to form heavy tears, my head spinning violently.

"Look, Josh. Please...let her go." I whispered shakily. Suddenly Josh thew his head back, allowing a large, throaty laugh to echo through the misty night sky.

"Aw, a little upset are we?" He frowned mockingly. "Has big bad Joshy got your wittle princess, huh?" His arms tighted around her neck as he pulled her back a little, knocking the gun harder against the side of her head.

"You fucking cunt!" I screamed at the top of my voice, surging forward onto Josh. The smirk on his face wiped of straight away, falling backwards and rolling against the path. "Touch her again and i'll murder you, sick bastard, you won't breathe again, you'll be six foot under!" Olivia bounced straight up, her arms wrapping around my waist with such a tight grip I could bearly move. Although she was silent I could see inside she was screaming, crying for help. Her salty tears tumbled peacefully down my hoodie, which only made me want to hug her back even tighter. I held Olivia in a protective grip, rocking her back and forth like an innocent child, which to me, she was.

"Shh." I whispered softly, "it's okay, I'm here. I won't let him hurt you, not Josh not anybody." Then everything fell silent,

"Bullshit." Josh spoke in a raspy, dark voice which came from behind us, then before anyone could speak,

bang.

Olivia's body flopped back into my arms, a loud yelp coming from her as she squeezed her eyes shut, allowing the flooding tears to pour. Blood streamed endlessly from her arm as I looked down, quickly analysing the deep bloody hole.

"Better look after your bitch better, Shelley." Josh smirked, shoving the gun into his back pocket as he sprinted off into the darkness.

"George, help." The bleeding girl in my arms mumbled helplessly.

"Olivia, stay with me, come on." I breathed through tears, "Don't go!" I screamed, shaking her. Her eyes that used to be filled with life and happiness began to close, revealing pain. Tears streamed down my face as I held her as tight as possible, shaking her, "it was you who believed in me, nobody wanted to even go near me, you risked your life for me, you're my angel." I cried, my voice seemed to strain, my jaw clenched, "its me and you or nothing, remember? You saved my life now it's my turn and all I can say is please, please don't leave me. You're all I have." I whispered, salty tears dripping onto her pyjama top. All the blood from her face began to drain out, the soft skin of which I loved went to a unforgiving shade of white. "I'm not giving up on you and you aren't giving up on me, Olivia I need you stay with me for fuck sake!" I screamed, cupping her face so her hair fell perfectly through the gaps of my fingers and roughly bringing it up to mine, planting a shaky kiss on her lips, our wet faces grazing off eachother. The sound of an ambulance became relevant by each second, red and blue headlights reflecting off the buildings in the distance. My head was dizzy and my vision was blurry, but I was pretty sure I could see a bunch of doctors rushing towards us. Muffled words vibrated through my ears,

"You get the oposite side." Shouted a doctor to another one. "Sir, let go of her." Ordered the man impatiently, a deep frown on his face.

"No!" I screamed, my jaw clenched, my eyes sore but still pouring. My tousled fringe fell in front of my eyes, soaked from the rain.

"She'll die, she only has a small amount of time left!" He told me as he nudged me out the way, a bunch of doctors began to crowd round and two of them lifted Olivia from my arms, taking her to a large white stretcher. A white ambulance van awaited her on the side of the road, both of the back doors opening with the help of a doctor, allowing the stretcher to be pushed in. I immediately jumped to my feet and sprinted over to Olivia, grabbing her hand,

"Everything's going to be okay." I sobbed, bringing her hand over to my mouth whilst I kissed it shakily, "I never meant to let him hurt you."

"Sir, you have to go."

"Are you kidding me?" I screamed, "That's my life you have wrapped up in there, I'm not letting you take her away from me!"

"I'm sorry but it's for her own good. We'll track you down and give you a call." The doctor told me apologetically,

"How long?" I cried,

"I'm not sure, but I can assure you your wait won't be long." He nodded and stepped into the van, slamming the door shut after him. The wheels began to crumble the rocks beneath the wheel as he drove off.

"No!" I sobbed, my throat sore and my eyes feeling as if they'd been spiked by nettles. I sprinted as fast as I could, chasing the hospital van with all the speed left in me, but it was no good. I just dropped to my knees in the middle of an empty road, my head dropping down into my hands, crying helplessly.
