A Summer Together

Chapter 1.

RINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

I quickly place my pencil on the top of my desk and glance around the room nervously untill my eyes land on my bestfriend Emily. I give her a quick reassuring smile and pass my test papers up to the teacher.

This test ment everything for next year.

My classes.

My study habits.

Everything.

Call me a nerd but I care about my future.

"Addison, Adi! Come on we don't have all day!" she shrieks in my ear which broke my train of thought.

"God damn Em let me keep my ear drum" I reply.

I finishish packing all my books and sling my purse over my shoulder. She saw I was ready and turned on her heel to leave the room. I followed swiftly behind her untill we got to her car in the school parking lot. I opened the passenger door and slumped inside.

She hopped in and looked me straight in the eyes. "I think I failed" she says not letting any emotion show on her face. I cant help but let a small giggle escape my lips. " Yeah right " I murmur . She breaks into laughter knowing that she probably aced the test. When she finally finishes laughing she takes out her keys and starts the car. "Mmm..the chances of me failing that test is like the chance of you Obtaining Perfection" I glared at her "Em. that doesn't even make sense! " "To me it does" she whined. I sighed and looked out the window.

Its going to be a long summer.
