A Summer Together

Chapter 7.

I woke up with Issacs back to me. I looked around and yawned loudly.

"Hey." He said in a husky voice. I turned around to face him . "Already awake?" I asked. He nodded his head in answer. "I didnt want to wake you up" he said after scratching his head. I sat up and yawned . I stood up and my legs had to turn into noodles and make me fall. I was caught in a warm embrace just before hitting the floor. I looked up and saw Issac looking at my eyes not even blinking to look away. He gave me a small smile and said "Slow down there Lil'Adi" he ruffled my hair. And headed for the door. I followed short behind.

We ended up downstairs in a matter of minutes. I walked over to the fridge and took out two apples. I handed him one and walked over to the couch. He sat across from me in a chair. I took out my headphones and iPod and started to play . I plugged in my headphones and started to play "Arms"

I started to sing along... To the girl verses of course.

Issac came over and sat next to me. He looked at the iPod and asked "You like Christina Perri?" I nodded my head. He smiled and said "Same" I took out the ear plugs and sang with him.

Anyway. We kept singing the verses and dancing around the kitchen unill I heard a small shriek. I looked up to find emily and Noah behind her rubbing his eyes. She threw her pillow at my head and i quickly doged it. "What the f**k Em"I screamed "I WAS SLEEPING!" She screeched ...yeah she's not much of a morning person.

"With your 'prince charming' I didn't know ou two were already on that level... Did you get things going?" Issac asked making her face turn red. She quickly ran down the hallway and slammed our door shut. I turned to look at Noah who was sending death glares to Issac. Who was now doubled over on the ground laughing his ass off. I just stood there helpless. Noah came downstairs face full of anger and walked over Issac.

"Uh-oh" I mumbled. Issac was still laughing and didnt seem to realize him coming.

Everything kind of happend in slow motion. Issac was all of a sudden pinned to the wall while Noah was throwing punches at his face. It was one of those scenes you see happen... Blood and all. Issacs face was dripping in it. I ran over and could hear Noah saying " Im not like that anymore". I screamed at the sight. Issacs face was.... A gonner. No im being dramatic but it had a couple bruises and blood seemed to be everywhere. I swear it was terrifying. I did what any girl should.

I cryed.

That seemed to get Noah's attention.

They were both looking at me. Tears running down my cheeks. I was absolutely terrified. Issac just looked pissed "What the hell Noah" He came up to me and grabbed my hand.

He walked me down the board walk till we were at he edge of the dock we sat down with our feet dangling in the water.

His face has scratched, and bruised yet there wasnt as much blood as I thought..only a bit running down his cheek. He looked at me . And whipped the salty tears from my eyes "Hey, dont cry" he said in a soothing voice. I sighed and looked at him. "You... Could have stopped him... You're twice his size" He nodded his head. "I did deserve it or being an ass" I splashed the water a bit with my toes and then looked at him. "I could have beat him to a pulp if I wanted to" "Oh really?" "Yea" he said. I looked at the bruise. And then did something I will never regret.

I kissed his cheek where the bruise was. Sparks were sent down my lips. I looked at his eyes that were now locked on me. I looked down at the water He stood up and started to leave.

I took hold of his wrist. He turned around with a sexy smirk on his face. "Yes?" He asked. I pulled his arms so his lips were and inch from me. "Get better Issac" I then turned back to the water. "Oh I will" he said and I let his footsteps fade. I watched the water for A bit and realized something.

I Just Kissed Issac.

A smile creeped on my lips."What are you smiling about?" Em asked. I turned to her sitting next to me.

I told her about everything that just happened in the kitchen/living room and she was surprised to hear he stood up for her. I guess they didn't have sex last night they just cuddled.

I told her how I kissed Issac and she gasped. "What?" I asked. "Well we could be one of those cute 'couple groups'... " "Not seeing the way Issac and Noah are getting along" I reminded her. She nodded and got up too. "Im sorry for flipping you off earlier..." "Its fine Em" I said honestly. We walked back to the cabin and I walked into the kitchen. Issac was on the couch sleeping. And Noah was walking to his motorcycle with Emily holding his hand. They got on and drove off. I looked at the couch where Issac was sleeping . And then looked back down at the counter.

"So" I heard from the couch.My head shot up in surprise and Issac was now sitting on the other chair.Only a small bruise on his lower cheek line. "So." I repeated. He got up and walked until he was behind me. "What are you doing?" I croaked nervously. "Shhh lets go for a walk" he said. He took my hands and led me outside from what I could tell by the fresh air we walked on crunchy soil until we reached a softer soil which was grass.

"Sit down" he ordered. I sat down Criss cross apple sauce as a little kid would say. He let go of my hand. I waited a couple minutes until I said something "Issac" I said in a calm tone . "Addison" he whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine. I took a moment to look around.

Wow was an understatement.

We were sitting on a field of flowers he was sitting his legs stretched out his arms behind him supporting his torso. He was now wearing a black shirt and blue semi-skinny jeans along with red toms and a red beanie. We were on a light blue blanket. My curly brown hair was blowing in the wind we were facing another part of the lake watching boats go by.

He was looking me up and down. I slapped his arm. "What was that for?" He asked. "Checking me out" I stated bluntly. "I was SO not checking you out" "Oh really?" I asked with curiosity. "Really" he stated flatly.

I smiled a bit. I laid down on the blanket. I stared at the clouds.

Also known as cloud watching for those of you who are uncultured.

After about minutes h"e took the now folded blanket and held my hand guiding me through a path in the forest. We ended up across from our driveway and walked inside. Noah was the first to greet up and after apologizing to his brother he looked at me and apologized for scaring me. I nodded my head watched Issac go upstairs.

I turned around to leave and left down the road.

Have you ever needed to just clear your head and leave? Well its happening right.about.now.

I walked farther along the path until I came to some conclusions:

•I liked Issac

•I have already kissed him twice

•not on the lips...(sadly)

•I haven't had a conversation with Noah yet, I barley even know him

•Em really likes Noah

My phone beeped in my pocket and I looked down to see who it was.

The contact read:Asshole

Yep. Thats Dan the annoying ex.

Our relationship was great until he broke up with me because I refused to have sex with him.

The text read:

Asshole: Where are you? I went by your house and you weren't there ....I really need to talk to you

I frowned. And shoved my phone back into my pocket.

I walked a little longer until a horn sounded behind me. I turned around to see Noah on his motorcycle staring at me intently.
