Maria had always been a huge 5sos fan, and now she is going to find out I know the lead singer and scream.

"Yeah about that, um we have been kinda talking." I said quietly but nonchalantly.

"Isabelle, what do you mean 'kinda talking'?" She said in a quiet tone while putting air quotes around 'kinda talking'.

"Well, flirting mostly. But he said he was going to ask another girl out when I told him about Collin."

"YOU IDIOT. He was lying. He probably just felt embarrassed that you had a boyfriend and he was flirting with you! Dm him back and tell him you and that disgusting prick are over." She said laughing but being serious about me messaging back.

I took my phone out of her hand and opened up the Twitter app. He had responded to my earlier message.

L: yeah. Things are really gonna work out with her.

I: oh, sorry.

L: it's okay. how was the party?

I: it was okay, besides the part where Collin tried to get me to sleep with him and we broke up.

L: are you okay?

I: yeah. I'm fine Maria came and got me.

L: if I have to stop in the middle of recording our new album and fly to you just so I can kick his ass, I'm gonna do it.

I: Luke no.

I: it's fine.
