It was JungKook.

He's organising the shelfs in his work clothes. So he works here...

Should I maybe greet him or would he be disturbed? I was distracted by my thoughts again when I see someone accidentally bump the shelfs and a plant pot (for some reason) was falling from above.

"Watch out!"

I ran over just in time and almost just almost caught the pot in my hands but I guess my reflex ain't fast enough, it crashed miserably on the ground.

Well now I'm on top of JungKook.

My eyes were locked into his as one of my arms were firmly placed onto his chest.

"Erm.. Would you mind getting off?"

"Huh? Oh of course!"

I climbed off him and we were both even more awkward than this morning.

I helped him clean up the potted mess since he's the only one looking after the store today. And also, I had nothing better to do than go home and assemble my furniture, which I'm dreading.

I secretly glance at him as he handles the cash register. I giggled when he was struggling to calculate the total price on the machine.

"It's $520," I interrupted.
The client sighed a relief when I took over the cash register instead. Thanking my experience working in a super market, you need to be quick to do things.

JungKook awkwardly shifted out from his spot and walked off somewhere. I shrugged and continued to serve other customers in the line.

When the day passed. I found a corner with a milk crate and sat down.

"So tiring...." I murmured.

"Here, my treat".

I woke up to the smell of fresh coffee. "Thanks".

"Who said it was for you?" He joked again.

I rolled my eyes and took the cup off his hand while he sat down next to me.

"How long have you worked here?" I asked a little curious. I don't even know how old this baby face is.

"Since last year," he replied after a sip of his own coffee.

"Nice..."

The air was silent and it felt like de Ja vu all over again.

"How old are-"

We both paused.

"You first," I led the conversation.

"How old are you?" He asked.

"That's not fair you're supposed to tell me first," I said.

"No it's you".

"Aish..."

He somewhat smirked, "I'm 19".

My eyes lit up. "Really? We're same age then!"

"So that means I'll speak to you informally okay?" He says.

I rolled my eyes. "Dude you've always done so".

We exchanged small laughters and it felt great. Laughing and joking around with him about some of his clients. It made me feel as if I was his friend and this feeling makes my heart all tingly. If only it could stay this way, who knows if he'll revert back to  himself.
