Chapter 4

I stood there for a couple of seconds. Not moving for my spot. I most likely look like a weirdo just standing there, smiling at the wall...yeah I need to move.

I turn towards the door and knock on

"Come in!"Okay. I walk in the room to find my brother and Andy sitting on his bed playing Call of duty.

"Hello." I say dramatically as I sit In between them.

"What's up?" Andy says still looking at the TV. Well that's nice of him.

"Move. You can't sit by him." Well then.

"Why?" I asked my brother very confused.

"He's an ass."he mumbled, which only made me laugh. May I add, hard.

"You're just mad because I keep beating you at like, all the games we've played soon far." Andy says with a cheeky smile.

"Matt, why do have to suck at everything? It's really embarrassing."

"Why do you have to be so mean to me?" He said pouting.

"I'm sorry bro, but you suck at video games." I said patting his back.

I look at the time on my phone to see the time.

6:05

Crap.

"Matt we have to go. Dinner is at 6:30!" I said in a rush.

"What time is it?"

"6:06 now."

"Crap."

"Yeah. Now let's go! We still need to tell mom and dad!" I said trying to rush him.

"Till we meet again." He held his hand out for Andy.

"Till we meet again." Andy took his hand to shake it.

"Bye Andy." I gave him a hug.

"Bye girlllll!" He said in a gay voice hugging me back.

I must admit I did have a lot of fun with Andy tonight. He did come off as a player at first, but he proved me wrong.

"Bye." I say as walk out of his room, down the stairs, out his front door, and through mine. All in record time.

"Mom, dad! Get ready! We have dinner with the neighbors at 6:30!"

"Okay, okay. You don't have to yell." My mom says walking up the stairs. My dad chuckles and follows her up the stairs.

I run up to my room to freshen up a bit. I change out of my comfy clothes into something casual.

A pair of light washed skinny jeans and a plan black t-shirt. I brush though my hair and reapply my makeup.

"Ava are you ready?"My brother asks from my doorway.

"Yeah." I follow him down the stairs to meet my mom and dad, then start walking to the neighbors house.

My dad knocks on the door. A couple minutes later the door opens.
