Understanding You.. Part 9

Reader's POV

(y/n) looks around as your (e/c) stare around the Elf hallways. Porin sees everything around her unaware of the stares both you & her are getting. Porin small height brought more stares than anything as the elf confuse her for a Dwarf.

You try your best to keep up with Porin as Porin walks three steps ahead of you. It's like she doesn't want to be in this hallway or in this place at all. You find the Elf hallways to be very luxurious from what you have seen this 5 years on the never ending journey.

"Po-orin! Wait up! I can't keep up with you" (y/n) holds onto Porin hands stopping her from going any further ahead. You stops catching your breath barely as Porin looks at you, "Sorry, I am not aware of my surroundings. I thought you weren't behind me" Porin mutters as she gives you her water to drink.

(y/n) gladly takes it, as you drink the crystal water, Porins waits for you to finish up. You drink until you could feel your throat restore "Thank you, Porin" (y/n) tells Porin as you give Porin her water. Porin closes the leather container placing it around her waist once more. 

She looks around the room noticing the Elf's staring at her. Porin sighs moving her locks out of her eyes "This is stressing, I can't pin point, Agatha. I mean, she walks by here..." Porin tells you as you can feel Agatha's aura was indeed around here.

It wasn't hard to see Agatha's aura as there was a few black drops on the floor "Shouldn't we follow the drops?" Porin looks at the floor. Agatha's black sand was rolling straight ahead "I will never understand how this black sand works. At first, it doesn't fucking moves, but all of a sudden it knows where she is at" Porin does an angry flipping gesture making you laugh in the process.

You try with all your might when the laughs don't stop, and you are unable to pull yourself together. Porin only stares at you oddly. She wants to check your forehead; however, you are taller than her. Porin was next to you with her small stature waiting patiently for you to recover.

Porin makes another flip gesture as you are laughing uncontrollably. The walls where white with cylinder at the surroundings. The hallway had some 3 doors straight ahead each side at the end was a bigger door. The black sand went into it, Porin was sure that's where everyone was, if not Agatha was literally pranking them. 

Porin was tired of walking for at least 30 minutes. She just wants to get (y/n) to the humanoids or next to the Queen. Porin wants to laid down somewhere and rest. You come back to your senses staring at Porin "I am so sorry, Porin" Porin stares at you when your sweet voice spoke.

Porin mutters a "No problem. The shit I go through to get you to places, dammit. I want to sleep" under her breath as you try to control your laughs. You know Porin is super funny when she gets a little bit angry. You have to try holding back your laughs, so she doesn't give you stares.

Porin keeps walking with you right behind her. Both of you stop at the big golden doors "I have never seen so much gold" Porin looks at you as she rolls her eyes, "That's an under statement, we use a crystal finer than gold" (y/n) nods to Porin as Porin pushes the doors open.

The Elven Guards around the door arm look behind them. (y/n) & Porin came through the right side of the 'Humanoid's Welcome' The room was big enough to hold the whole humanoid party "(y/n)!" Porin and you look up as the princess runs your way. You & Porin enter the room as other humanoids face palm themselves seeing Porin.

Polin rolls his eyes staring at Porin "You made me lose money, Porin. I literally bet Agatha, you where going to come here after her" Porin opens her eyes staring at her cousin like 'seriously? did you just bet with your luck?' face. (y/n) tries so hard to hold back her laughs. You embrace the princess in your arms as she guides you to the Queen's side.

You give a look behind you to Porin, she gives you a slide smile, as she impulse herself to the ceiling. Natasha helps Porin into a weird looking branch on the ceiling. A few of the humanoids were up there. You image they climb up there, but Porin can just jump easily. You give a sigh looking ahead of you noticing a tall pale skin Elf, black hair & dark color eyes. He had a small silver crown on his forehead.

Was he a king? He doesn't look like a king.

I might not know much about Elves rules...This is odd.

You stare at the Elf whom you not know his name "They call me, Lindir" Lindir tells everyone loud and clear bringing everyone's attention from each others to Lindir. He waits for everyone to stops talking for him to process. You thought the manners where on point. At the very least, he didn't act like a human "Welcome to the Woodland Realms, Rule by the ElvenKing" Lindir repeats loud and clear for everyone to listen.

The Queen smiles to me staring right at Lindir "Take this Banquet as a way of appreciation for coming all the way from Geniasia" Lindir bows to us in a very respectful manner. When he gets up the doors behind everyone come Elves with plates of foods and others delicacies.

"I guess, they remember from 50 years ago" The Queen smiles when she saw you staring at her "We came here for the same reason, and they remember that we like different things than other races" (y/n) nods her head as the princess guides you towards the now fix tables and chairs. Porin & the humanoids on the ceiling where to wait until Agatha came to actually eat. It was nice sitting down for a calm meal without worrying to keep watch because the forest animals can kill you.
