Chapter Nine

*after dinner*


"Thanks mum! That was great!" I said.


"Welcome sweetheart," she said.


I went inside the living room and started to play a game. Then, I started feeling queasy. I ran upstairs thinking I just had to puke. But as I was approaching the stairs, I passed out.


ELEANOR'S POV


I heard a thunk coming from the living room. I ran to see what it was and i found Emily on the floor.


"Louis! We have to go to the hospital! Emily just passed out!" I screamed.


Louis rushed in here and picked Emily up. We ran to the car and Louis sped maybe a little. When we got to the hospital, we ran inside.


"We're here because she just fainted really hard. Can we see a doctor really soon?" Louis asked the receptionist.


"Sure. I'll page him," the receptionist answered him.


*will Dr. Rick please come down to door two? Dr. Rick to door two, thank you*


"I just paged him. He'll be down in just a minute," the lady said.


And in just a moment the doctor was right in front of us. He took us to room 3.


"Let's see what's wrong," he said.


He took about five minutes to look and then, Emily got up.


"Hey Emmie," Louis cooed.


"Where am I?" she asked.


EMILY'S POV


I woke up in a strange room.


"Where am I," I asked.


"You fainted and were in the hospital!" Louis said.


"What?!" I screamed as I sat up, sharply.


"Shhh! Calm down, love. It's ok," Louis hushed.


I slowly lowered myself back down onto the bed.


"What's gonna happen, dad?" I asked, afraid.


"Nothing, baby. The doctor says your fine and you were probably just dehydrated. It's ok," Louis softly spoke in my ear.


"Can we leave?" I questioned.


"Yes. Lets go," Louis said, helping me out of bed.


As we walked out of the hospital, I realized something. Louis loved me unconditionally. And, I did too. I ran up to him and hugged him, tightly.


"I love you dad," I said.


"I love you too, sweetheart," Louis answered back.


We walked out of the hospital with him carrying me bridal-style. I was giggling.


"You hungry?" Eleanor asked me.


"No," I replied.


"Ok. Just make sure you eat something before you go to bed. K?" she said.


"Ok, mum," I answered her back.


We arrived at our house and jumped out of the car. As soon as we had walked in, the phone rang.


"I'll get it!" I called as I ran to the phone.


"Hello?" I said into the mouth thing.


"Hi! This is Harry. Is Louis there?" Harry asked.


"Yes. I'll get him," I said putting my hand over the phone and yelling for him. Louis came over and took the phone.


"Jello?" He asked, while winning at me. I giggled.


"Lou? This is Harry. I was calling to see how Emily was doing. Is she alright?" Harry asked.


"Yeah. Just dehydration," Louis sounded relieved.


I left and went up to my room to play on my phone. A few minutes later, I heard Louis come up the stairs.


"Hey! Just checking on you," Louis said.


"No. It's fine. Can you actually stay in here? I could use the company," I begged.


"Sure," Louis said, sitting on my bed beside me.


"I need to tell you something," I told Louis looking him straight in the eyes.


"Anything," Louis said.


I smiled.


"Here it goes,'' I said.
