I wake up an hour or so later needing to pee....badly. I slowly get up and head to my bathroom. After I'm done I go downstairs to see if anyone is home yet. No one is so I start up the stairs to room. I'm about to slip in my room when I hear Colton starting to snore. I laugh quietly and walk up to the bed. I back up a few feet, then run and jump right next to his body. He groans and I laugh. He grabs me and brings me close to his chest. I look up and Colton is still asleep. I nudge him and one eye pops open. He looks down and sighs, "Yes Sage?" "I want something." He sighs again and says, "Would that happen to be to cuddle with her boyfriend and go back to sleep?" I put my finger on my chin and think. "Hmm......Actually, I want a good morning-sleeping beauty-my amazing girlfriend-whom I love so much-kiss. Oh and what you said." He just stares at me and shrugs. He lifts my chin with his finger and gives me a kiss. We kiss for a few more minutes then he pulls me back to his chest and kisses my forehead.
We both wake up from an amazing nap, which was another three hours. We just chill in my bed and kiss a few more times. My phone starts to buzz. I look at it and Vic is calling. I answer, "Yes Vic?" "Did you just wake up or something?" I yawn, "Yup. A four hour nap too." She giggles and I tell her to continue. "Well I was just wondering if you wanted to swim.....because right now it's 97 degrees and I've already taken four cold showers. You know that I hate staying inside in summer." I laugh and she says, "So?" I look up at Colton who mouths, "I'll text Nick." I nod and answer, "Sure."
I run upstairs to change into my blue bikini and keep my hair in the fishtail. I walk back downstairs and Colton's already back from his house and is on the phone with Nick. He hangs up, walks over, and wraps his arms around my waist. We lean in and I bring my arms around his neck. We kiss for a bit then break apart. Colton sighs and says, "I wish we could kiss all day." I nod and give him a peck and push him out the door. He tries to grab my wrist but I shake my head and close the door.
Vic gets to my house a few minutes later wearing a pink and green polka dot bikini. Her hair is up in a bun and she's wearing her favorite sunglasses. She smiles and walks into the backyard. I walk up to her and we hug. "Colton just left to go pick up Nick." She nods then says, "I have a plan." I look at her and she looks around, then drags me to the shed. We go inside and she asks, "Do you still have those water guns?" I think for a second, then smile. "Yes and we just got this water balloon kit." We rummage around the shed until we find what we need. She fills up the four water guns and I run inside to fill the bucket with water then pump it into the balloons. I go back outside and she gets the wagon. While I pump the water into the balloons, she twists the end and ties them into knots. In five minutes we have about one hundred water balloons. We decide to hide the balloons and get ready for the boys to come through the gate. We position ourselves with our guns and our backup guns when we hear the boys walking up to the gate. I look over to Victoria and she nods. I hold up three fingers and Colton unlatches the gate. Three.....two.....one. I jump out of my spot and spray Colton in the face then the chest. He jumps back then Vic jumps out and sprays Nick. I finish my first gun when Colton starts running towards me. "Oh shit." I say and grab the second one. I start running away and get to the top of the water slide. He comes up pretty close and yells, "That's not fair!" I yell back, "Life's not fair!" I'm sitting with my back to the slide, with my legs dangling over the stairs. I realize the bad idea when a bird flies a bit too close to me and I fall backwards. I hit my head against the slide and gasp. The water from the slide makes my body slide down the slide instead of me falling off the edge. I scream of course and try to grab the edges with my hands, but fail. I hear Colton screaming my name and the I slide into the pool. The impact takes my breath away and I'm underwater. I can't breathe and my eyes are closed because the salt water stings. Everything is bright then somehow, everything goes dark.
