" so who is he"

"Who is who" I ask.

"Your boyfriend"

"Oh it's this amazing man and he is here right now come here farkle" I say with a smile and have him sit next to me.

"You chose him over me" says Lucas with confusion.

"Yeah I'm in love with him he makes me happy" I say with a smile and farkle pulls me into a side hug.

"Well if he makes you happy that's good now I know that I'm a as* hole and all that but I would really love to be Elie's father figure in her life and I'm going to NYU so I won't be far away and I can help" Lucas begs.

"Fine but you really have to be committed to this bus isn't some doll that you got for a week in 8th grade and then give it back this is 18 years of helping her with break ups periods boyfriends friends and most importantly life in general this is no joke Lucas I love this little girl so much she is my entire life" I say starting to tear up with what I just said.

"I know Maya and I can do this uk going to be the father that she deserves and not the shitty one that I was when I moved back to Texas when I found out about what happened to you" says Lucas with a sincere smile.

"Okay farkle go get her out of the nursery and I will get us some snacks and some lunch for E" I said.

"E?!" Asks Lucas with confusion

"It's a nickname for Elie I call her E" I say.

"Oh okay j was just confused" says Lucas.

"It's fine"

"Do you think that I could help feed her or something"

"I'm back" says farkle walking in "sorry it took so long E had a full diaper" says making a disgusted face.

"It's fine I was just getting her some lunch and yes Lucas you can help" I say.

"Okay so that do I do" asked Lucas.

"Well she is already in her high chair which farkle does because she hates it but farkle charms her. So now you take this bowl of baby food with peas and pears and the other with banana puffs" I tell him.

"Okay what do I give her first"

"You give her the peas and pears first and after she's finished you give her the banana puffs" I tell him.

"Okay" says Lucas with a smile.

Hours later 5:38

"Okay guys I'm going to head out"

"Okay bye Lucas" I say giving him a hug "thank you for stepping up it actually means a lot" I say.

"Thank you for letting me" he says with a smile.

"Bye Elie I will see you later okay bye baby girl I love you" Lucas sad kissing her ting little head.

"Bjhjsk" says Elie.

"Hahahahahaha" we all giggle.

"Mama" says Elie and we all stop.

"Did she just say mama" I ask sigh a smile creeping into my face.

"She did" says farkle with excitement.

"Mama" she says again.

"That's right I'm your mama Elie I'm your mama" I say with a smile and tears of joy going down my face.

"This was an amazing night but it's getting late" Lucas says walking out the door.

"Bye" Farkle and I say at the same time to hums as he's about to walk out the front door.
