Riordan's Sinead

Prologue

"I dont think I can do this."

"Yes you can Sinead, its not a big deal at all. You are making it one by freaking out. Can you just calm down."

"No Emily please understand. Its not easy for me. I'll just call him and inform that I wont be able to make it tonight. May be some other time." I said to Emily.

"Hey you know you have to move on from that and start like a new life or something. Just forget what happened." she tried making me understand.

"I am trying to Em, but I just can't. I am trying okay."

"Sinead, breakfast is ready. Emily I made your favorite. Pancakes." my mom called from the kitchen.

"Okay mom." I yell back.

I and Em walk to the kitchen. Well Emily ran to the kitchen. She'll do anything for pancakes. Running is no biggie. Haha... I see my dad is sitting on his chair by the dining table.

"Hey dad" I say sweetly.

"Hey dad" Em imitates me.

"Hello beautiful kids. How are you two rats doing?"

"Dad, we are not rats anymore. Look at us." I said irritated. Mom and Em just laughed.

"Hey mum, do you need help setting the table?" Em asked my mom.

"Yes honey, you should teach Sinead too." my mother says sweetly.

I roll my eyes and go to help mom too. After setting the table we take a seat and start grace. We start eating.

"Ummmm. Yummy food mom" I appreciate my mother.

"Yes yummm." Em says still eating.

"Thank you. Hey Sinead you dont look so fine. Whats wrong?" my mother questions.

"Yes hun, whats wrong? Everything allright?" dad says concerned.

"Yes. Everything's allright. Just tired." I say.

"Aren't you excited for tonight?" mother says excited.

"No mom. I am calling him and just asking him to postpone the date."

"What? No baby girl. You'll end up breaking his heart. You are just freaked out." my dad said.

"I told her the same thing dad" Em says. I give her a glare.

"I am scared." I admit.

"Why are you scared? Nothing is gonna happen Sinead. Nothing like your last date." mom says

"You have to see this as a new start darling, new life. Forget about your past." dad tries to put some sense in me.

"Okay. I'll try." I say picking up our empty plates and put them in the dishwasher.

"Thats great. Hun I and your dad are going out. We will be back around 5 pm. I am so excited to see you like a princess when I return." mom says dreamily.

"Don't call me that mom. I think I'll go take a nap. Atleast I wont look tired in the evening."

"Okay, sleep well." mom and dad yell in unison going out of the kitchen.

"Hey babe, I'll go home. I'll come back around four okay. Sleep well. I am so excited to help you get ready." Em says coming to me and giving a kiss on my cheek.

"Okay Em. See you soon. And thank you." I give her a kiss in return. "Bye."

"Bye Sinead." she says and walks out.

I go to my room and jump on my bed falling flat on my stomach. I rest my head on the pillow and pull the covers over myself. Feels so good to be in my cozy bed.

"I am sorry Riordan, but I can't help myself." I say my thoughts aloud and close my eyes. Flashbacks of my last date starts.

Will Riordan get his happy ending with Sinead? Will Sinead go to this date she didn't want to? Will she go back to her Riordan? Stick with me and We will find out in the upcoming chapters.
