Ch 4 . Begin Again.

Sinead's POV.

7th Grade was over and we were in between our summer holidays.

I still miss him and so does Emily. I wonder how Aunt Ava is.

Even my parents noticed that I miss Rio a bit too much. They always kept on saying "He'll come back. Dont worry. As soon as its possible they'll be back."

I decide to go to Em's house. I shower real quick and change into jeans and T- Shirt. Put on sneakers and brush my hair. I tie my hair into a messy pony. I walk down and see mom in the kitchen.

"Hey mom." I greet her.

"Hey honey. Are you going out?"

"Yes mom. Going to Em's place. I'll be back before dinner." I say plucking few grapes from the bunch.

"Okay. Take care love." mom replies.

"Bye mom." I wave and chew on the grapes.

Em's house is around fifteen minutes walk from mine. My thoughts go back to him whose house I am about to pass on my way. Its no use keeping my hopes high. No one's gonna be there.

As I get near to his house I see a boy getting out of the house. Same hairstyle which is a bit more light brown coz of the sunlight. May be I am imagining him. He walks off his property and starts walking on the footpath. He lifts his head and his gaze shifts towards me. I didn't even realize I had stopped walking and was standing still. He walks slowly towards me and stops right in front of me. He is looking into my eyes. I stare into the same light brown eyes which are very shiny at the moment. His gone so tall.

"I said I would come back to you." he says softly wiping off the tears on my cheeks.

I didnt even know I was crying.

"I didn't give up. Each day of these two years I have had hopes that you would come back." I say.

"I missed you." he say pulling me into his arms for a hug.

Oh My! His arms are gone so big. I feel so safe here. I feel like staying like this forever.

"I missed you even more Ordan." I say hugging him back.

"Wow. Nice nickname." he laughs.

"SINEAD" Aunt Ava yells excitedly coming out of the house causing us to pull away from our hug.

"Aunt Ava." I run and hug her.

"I missed you. How are you?" she asks me.

"I am absolutely fine right now. I missed you too." I answer.

"Mom let her breathe." Rio tells his mom.

We laugh pulling away.

"Hey Rio, lets go see Em. She'll be so happy to see you. I was on my way there."

"Okay. And I was on my way to your house." he says looking at me.

"Mom I'll be back in few hours. See ya mom." Rio waves at his mom.

"Bye Aunt Ava. See you soon." I wave at her too.

We start walking towards Emily's house. He throws his hand around me resting it on my shoulder.

"Why did you lie Ordan?" I ask him.

"I am sorry. When you asked me where was I going after I informing you that I was moving... The look in your eyes was very different. I didn't want to see that hurt look in your eyes." he explains.

"Oh." I could just say that much right now. He doesn't know how hurted I was these two years I guess.

"But I kept my word. I came back to see that beautiful face of yours." he says pinching my cheek.
