Ch 2. First Kiss.

Sinead's POV.

It was the end of 5th grade. As we left the school building, we felt so good. Temporary freedom.

"Hey guys I am gonna go meet my Aunt." Emily says. Her Aunt is teacher Elizabeth.

"Okay Em, we will wait for you at the entrance of the garden." I yell already walking to the garden along with Rio.

He purposely pulls on a strand of my hair. I just mess his hair.

"Hey thats not fair. I didn't mess with your hair." he whines.

"Whatever Ri, you touched it." I say laughing.

"Hey Sinead I wanna tell you something. Its important." he says stopping at the entrance of the garden.

"What is it?" I ask stopping too. I look at him. He looks very serious. I give him a very concerned look and I know it'll be easy for him then.

"Sin... Sinead.... I ... I ummmm.. I am gonna miss you." he stutters.

"Hey Ri Ri. You know we are gonna meet during the summer. We always do that."

"Yeah, I know but this is gonna be different." he says taking hold of my hands.

"Rio you are acting strange. Its weird. Whats wrong? Are you lieing? Its something else right?"

"Okay, I'll get to the point. I am gonna move out."

"Where?" I ask him standing still and shocked.

What if its somewhere far away. Where we cannot see eachother everyday.
I'm gonna loose my mind.
I just hope our God is very kind.

"Its not far away. The next town. The I.C neighborhood." he says looking into my eyes trying to know what I am feeling.

"Really?" I smile.

"Yes, really Sinead." he says smiling and squeezing my hands.

"Yay, you had me scared there. You were acting like you were going far away. You know I wouldn't be able to live if you would have gone far away. Even Em wouldn't. Who would make fun of us?" I say and hug him.

"It'll just be different schools and about an hours drive from your place to my new home." he hugs me back. Its a bit too tight.

"We are gonna meet almost everyday during the summer. During school we can meet every weekends. We are gonna call eachother everyday. I, you and Em can have conference calls. That will be so cool." I try to make him feel better and pull away from our a lil too long hug.

"Yup, we are gonna have the same bond. Hey, I'll be busy the coming few days. Moving out and all you know. Packing and unpacking stuff. Then we can start our holidays and have fun." he says cheerfully. For some reason I find it fake.

"You are really acting weird. Do you need help moving out. I, Em and Ray can help you and your mom. It'll be faster too." I offer help.

"Nope, its fine. But hey I'm gonna miss you while we aren't together." he says once again holding my hands and stepping a bit closer.

"I'm gonna miss you too Rio. I dont know what am I and Emily going to do these few days. We are so used to eachother." I say a bit softly as he is close.

"Yes, I am so used to you Sinead. I am just gonna do this now." he says stepping more closer.

Before I could ask him what was he gonna do I see him leaning his head towards me. His light brown eyes staring deeply into my dark brown eyes. His eyes close and he leans more. I close my eyes too. I feel something soft touch my lips. A weird feeling runs through my body. He presses his lips further on my lips. I think an elephant was running in my stomach. I think my spine couldn't be straight and my legs didn't have strength to stand anymore. I guess this is what being a jelly would feel like. He pulls away slowly and hugs me. I hug him too. I see Em taking a turn and walking towards us. Em you are a lifesaver.

"Umm Ri I can see Em coming towards us." I inform him.

He pulls away and looks into my eyes once more and says "We will meet again okay. I'll come take you with me. I will see your beautiful face once again."

Before I could ask him what was that, Em says "Hey guys lets go."

We start walking to the parking lot where one of our parents wait. We tell Emily what Rio told me. Em instantly pounced on Ri. I was wondering if he would kiss Em too. But I didn't want him too. And he didn't which I was thankful for. We then reach the parking lot and see Rio's mom waiting for us. Today it was her. Our parents take turns picking and dropping us as we live quite close to eachother.

"Hey Mom." Rio greets his mother.

"Aunt Ava" I and Em say as we both hug her sides.

"Hey kids, get in." she says getting into the drivers seat.

Rio gets in the passenger seat while me and Emily get in the back.

Aunt Ava pulls into my driveway.

"Thank you so much Aunt Ava. If you need help moving just call me. We will meet soon. Bye." I say looking at her while peeping from the middle of the front seats.

"Bye Rio." I say looking into his eyes.

"Bye Sinead." he says doing the same.

"Bye Em." I yell while getting out of the car.

"Bye. See you soon." she replies.

When I close the door I see Aunt Ava out.

"Take care Sinead. Hope to see you soon. Bye." she says hugging me tight.

Weird.

"You too take care. Bye." I say hugging her back.

We pull away and I walk towards my home. I turn and look at the car only to see Rio waving at me. I wave back at him. I think about earlier and blush.

"Honey, are you going to stand there blushing and waving at no one or are you going to come in?" my mom says snapping me from my thoughts.

"I'm coming Mom." I answer blushing even more. Oh Lord!
