Integementary System: Christian's Point Of View.........

"Good Christian!" , shouts Coach Ali, during half time. "Make sure you get that checked out, it looks pretty nasty." , he states after looking me over, walking away.

"Seriously, again." I state while cheking out the nasty looking cut that is still bleeding, might I add.

"Yeah! The trainer is over there, tell me what he says ok?" Coach says, while making sure the rest get water before gathering them up.

While walking, and splashing my face with water, I head over to the triner hoping for this to be fine, so I can get back into the game.

"What can I do for you?" He ask while going through his bag, proabbly looking for water.

"I was wondering if you can tell me what's up with my leg." I ask while sitting down on the bench, and putting my leg up for him to see.

"Well from my calculations you went through both the Epidermis and Dermis part of your skin." He states while talking a closer look.

"What's that mean?"I question.

"Epidermis is the outer layer of your skin, made up of dead skin cells, yet the Dermis contains some of your blood cells so it is pretty deep. Your lucky it didn't get to the Hypodermis." He tells me while taking out some gauze, antiseptic and water.

"And that is?" I start berfore he interepts me.

"It's isolates the body, some call it the fatty layer." He said, after giving me more water, while he pours antiseptic on the gash, cleaning it.

"You need to take care of your skin, it covers your body, and prevents water loss. It regulates your body temperture" He says while taping the gauze up to my leg, letting me walk back to coach.

"What took you so long?"Coach ask. "We are about to start. Are you good?" He ask while pulling me into the huddle.

"Yea, i'm fine" I say running on to the field
