Okay guys after some serious deliberation I finally decided to publish this chapter, since most of you reader chans have probably already seen the preview of season two. If u havent then I apologize in advance for spoilers, but u were gonna find out eventually, right? After this chapter, I have made up what I would think happened during season two. I have not read the manga nor know the exact release date for season two, but bear with me. Enjoy!

After Eren's final battle with Annie, my job was to survey the damage done to the city. My husband, none other than Captain Levi himself, gave me this job since we had a child.

My name is Rukia Ackerman, in case you're just now jumping into my story. You have missed out on quite a bit, my friend.

****I could see several buildings on fire from where I stood on rooftop. Many streets and shops were destroyed during the titan fight.

Levi was prowling the deserted streets, searching for people who may have survived.

I jotted down notes on my parchment, and looked at the wall to count exactly how many foot holes Annie had punched into the wall during her attempted escape.

I waved my quill from hole to hole as I counted.

One...two...three...four...five...six...seven......eight....nine......ten.......eleven...twelve...

As soon as I got to thirteen, I gasped and dropped my clipboard.

"Oh. My. God."

Hanji ran over.

"Rukia?" She asked when she saw the look on my face. "What's the," she asked, following my line of sight, "problem?"

"There's a titan in the wall!" A civilian screamed.

Levi must have heard as the civilians started to clamor, for he looked up at the wall, and the color drained from his face.

Pastor Nick screamed, "DO NOT LET THE SUN SHINE ON THAT TITAN!!!"

Hanji and I had squads to fasten a cover over the hole in the wall. We were now on top of the wall, and Hanji was interrogating the pastor.

"YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS ALL ALONG!? WHY HIDE THE TRUTH!?" She screeched.

"I did it to protect the walls! To protect humanity! No human hands must defile the three goddesses!"

Hanji grabbed Nick's lapels and dragged him to the edge of the wall.

"Tell. Me. Everything. You. Know." She hissed through clenched teeth. She gradually lowered him until he lay parallel to the wall, his feet the only part of his body that still touched the wall. All I could think was "Day-um Hanji...."

"My life is nothing compared to these sacred walls! If I am to die, I will do so happily!"

Hanji grinned like a madwoman.

"You want me to let you go?" She asked crazily. Hanji's eyes were not their usual color, and I saw no glint of emotion whatsoever. All I saw was rage.

Nick let go of his lapels and threw his arms out to the sides.

"I will die willingly for these walls!"

"Do you know why we, members of the scouting legion, shed our blood every waking moment so freely!? To break free from the walls that keep everyone from living their lives to the fullest! Do not let my men have died in vain."

"Squad Leader! That's enough!" A survey corps member yelled.

Hanji pulled Nick to a safe zone on top of the wall and then sat on the edge, laughing. Her eyes were back to their usual sparkly chocolate brown.

"Ha, ha. Sorry! Sorry, just kidding!"

Nick panted and shook, and I'm pretty sure that there was a code brown in the pants department.

**Levi and I were on our way to the capital, and he sat behind me on his magnificent black Arabian stallion, reins in hand. My horse unfortunately went lame, so we had to put her down. R.I.P. Butterscotch.

"Levi, if there's one titan in the wall that we know of , do you think that there's more?" I asked.

"Without a doubt. But I don't think it's only the church that was covering that fact up."

"You think it's the monarchy?" I whispered into his ear.

"This is a matter to discuss in private," he murmured into my ear. "Don't act surprised when I do what I'm about to do; people are watching."

He then nipped at my earlobe, making me giggle as his breath tickled my neck.

"Levi, stop it. People are watching!" I said, going along with his plan.

"So?" He asked, a ghost of a smirk on his face."It isn't like they haven't seen a man kiss his wife before," he said between kisses on my shoulder.

A elderly woman who was on her porch as we passed sighed and said," Ah, young love."

Levi threaded his fingers through mine, and I was thankful that my relationship with him was not based entirely on sex. I actually was an advocate for healthy relationships and was nicknamed the Love Guru by members of the Survey Corps.

Soon our little ploy turned into an actual make out session, and both of us blushed madly when Hanji cleared her throat and said, "There's something in the air other than death and carnage."

We were lucky we didn't get demerits for PDA while in public and in uniform, but Hanji really didn't care if we played tonsil hockey every now and then. She liked to pick on Levi and me about it.

"Who has the winning hockey score?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"As of last night, me, when I shot the puck in bottom center," Levi said, keeping a straight face. I hid my face in Levi's cloak.

Hanji's face turned a whole new shade of red when Levi turned the tables on her. Her reaction must have egged him on, because he went on to say, "Rukia loves it when we play. She just gets so excited. I had a hard time keeping her quiet; she's a big sports fan."

"Oh yeah," I said. Levi is a beast at hockey. Especially when it's halftime, things start slowing down, the score is tied, the game is a tease..."

Hanji covered her ears and squealed, "Okay, guys! You win!"

"That's what you get for trying to embarrass us. You should know by now Hanji, we are not easily swayed." Levi said.
