Alfred let out a yelp of surprise then gripped onto the hand that gripped his neck. "I-Ivan stop!?" he didn't want to hurt Ivan again but Alfred couldn't breathe either.

Ivan gripped tighter and stood up. "Do you think his heart is worth nothing? Well?" He held him up off the ground.

"I...I didn't...say that!" Alfred was gasping for air now. Why was this happening!? How could he trust Ivan anymore if this is what would happen if Alfred made the Russian upset?

Ivan grimaced and released him. He turned away. "No.....not again...." he sat on the bed and put his head in his hands. He gripped the bandages around his head along with his hair.

Alfred scooted away from Ivan after he was let go. He coughed as he in took oxygen into his deprived lungs. He glanced towards Ivan and looked away. There would be bruises on his neck now, he could feel it. He wanted to leave. He really did but could not find himself to leave Ivan like this. Alone to suffer in his self hatred. He had promised to not let Ivan feel alone. He then suddenly hugged Ivan.

Ivan tensed and slowly removed his hands to look at the American. His eyes were slightly shining from unshead tears.

"..." he held onto Ivan tighter. "You won't be alone anymore. You don't need to fight this on your own anymore." he looked up at the Russian. "Let me be the light in that darkness. Please, Ivan.....I don't want to lose the kind sweet Ivan to that monster in your head."

Ivan looked at him then hugged him back. "Even with all the fucked up things I might do?" His voice cracked slightly in the end.

"Even that. I promise......that you'll never feel alone again." he smiled happily.

Ivan held him close as he started to shake from holding in the tears. "Spasibo, Fredka."
