Ivan smiled. "Did you try them yet?" He held a cup of coffee out to Alfred. He took a sip of his and looked back at his sister.
"Not yet. But Matvey had made them before and they are really good." she smiled even more.
"He didn't put weed in them, did he?"
"What? Matvey is an innocent cupcake. He wouldn't do that." Alfred was trying his hardest to not laugh.
Ivan smiled as he sat down and glanced at Matthew. He knew that no one was really innocent anymore. Expecially Alfred and Matthew.
Matthew shrugged. He just let Katyusha believe he was innocent. It made her happy. Alfred sat down next to Ivan and drank his cup of coffee. "Whatever floats your boat, Katyusha."
"Matvey is adorable." Alfred blinked and looked at Ivan.
Ivan smiled at his sister. "Don't be scaring him off now, Kat." He took a sip and looked at Alfred. He winked at him.
"I don't scare people, Vanya. Our little sister does that." She then hugged Matthew and he just sat there like this was normal. Alfred leaned close to Ivan. "Think Matthew can hear anything?"
Ivan scoffed and coughed as coffee hit him in the face. He sat his cup down and coughed into a napkin.
"Vanya? You ok?" Katyusha asked after hearing him cough.
"Yeah he's fine, Kat."
Ivan coughed again as he looked at Alfred. He smiled at him. He started to eat his stew.
Alfred started to eat his stew as well. At least he was getting food now.
Ivan sighed as he finished off his stew. He sat back in his chair. "Amazing as always Kat."
"Well I remembered how much you loved it when you were younger except nowadays the spices for it are pretty cheap to get." she smiled.
"What was life like when you were younger, Kat?"
"Very cold. Lots of fighting between the different people. Lots of people were scared of us and thought many things about us."
Ivan nodded. "Da.....to tell the truth I was more of a cry baby back then. Asking General Winter to help me get through a lot of my fight that Gilbert would force me into."
Alfred looked at Ivan then looked at Katyusha. "Hmm......Ivan who's General Winter?"
Ivan sighed. "An old friend....he controls the cold in Russia a lot of the times. But he goes to other cold countries and visits them to bring their winter into effect."
Matthew nodded. "I know him too. " Alfred looked at his brother.
Ivan smiled. "You might be hiding in one of the more warm areas of your country, Fredka. General Winter tries to bring it overnight the most. He doesn't like to be seen most of the time."
"During winter I'm normally down in the south or California." Alfred finished his food then looked at Ivan.
Ivan smiled. "That's why you've never heard or seen him." He yawned slightly. He looked at Katyusha. "Would those cinnamon rolls be ready?"
"Hmm? Oh yeah. Hold on." she stood up and went into the kitchen. Alfred pulled out his phone to check messages from his boss. He frowned and quickly sent him a message.
Ivan looked at him. "Boss troubles?" He leaned against the table.
"Hm.....he's asking why the conference was cancelled."
Ivan nodded he looked at Matthew. "Matvey did Ludwig say when the next meeting will be?"
"...Rescheduled for next month."
Ivan sighed. "Da.....alright....." he rubbed the back of his neck. His scarf slid down slightly to reveal a brand and part of a scar.
Alfred fixed the scarf so Matthew didn't see the scars and brands. Then he was angrily texting. He was arguing with his boss now.
Ivan looked at him. He noticed that Alfred's eyes were slowly turning red. "Fredka...."
Alfred heard his name called and his eyes went back to blue. "What?"
Ivan sighed. "Your eyes were slowly turning red." Ivan watched him. "Why don't we go do something relaxing?"
"I guess..."
Ivan smiled. "What would you like to do then?"
