I woke with a my head pounding, my eyesight was a smudge fuzzy but I was able to sense that I was outside due to the cold air brushing past me. I tried reaching my hands to my face, but something restrained them. I tugged and twisted but I was held firmly by rope. I looked around, there were trees surrounding me and very little light from the sun shone. I tried kicking and biting the ropes but the more I struggled, the more the ropes seemed to get tighter.

"Well, well.  Nice to see that our guest has woken up. And don't bother struggling, unless you want to get suffocated Love."  A young mans accent rang through.  Unfortunately, I could not see this man because he, I was guessing its a he, was behind me.

Then many small children walked out of the woods, seemingly all boys, and stood there with daggers and swords. Their clothes were covered in dirt and the stench was quite unpleasant. I looked into each of their eyes, each of them were cold and almost lifeless.

"What can I do you for?" I snapped a question to the mysterious voice behind me.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out,"  The voice said, I looked down and saw his boots in front of my face, I slowly looked up. I was not terrified by this young man but quite interested in how he got here. He was not that tall but he might as well be taller than I was, he had brown, rugged hair, piercing green eyes.. His eyes stood out the most.

He broke the silence, "My shadow brought you here and I think I know why now."

"Why?"  I asked while trying to at least find a way to grab that dagger out of his belt.

He lowered down to eye level, "And why would I tell a scrawny girl like you anything?"

I bit my lip but asked, "Who are you?"

He stood up and smirked, "Oh, did I forget to introduce myself?  I'm Peter... Peter Pan."
