some people can't wait to see what high school brings the memories they make and friends they meet on the way others just can't wait for it to be over already
Maya and Sofia walk into the Hart apartment. "hey mum" Maya says. "hey girls" Katy says with a smile. "what" Maya asked. "nothing Shawn is coming for dinner tonight its his birthday so I said will do a meal here"Katy says. "and your cooking that meal" Maya asked. "Maya thats so mean" Sofia says. "its fine Sofia" Katy says. "ahh your gonna say you cooked it all but really you didn't" Maya says. Katy winks "just get ready ok were having Jack and the matthews round" Katy says. "got it" Maya says.
in Maya room. "I might head to Laura's tonight" Sofia says. "your ditching me" Maya says changes into an outfit "that is so cute wanna use my cool necklace" Sofia says. "ohh can I " Maya asked. "yeah omg cute" Sofia says.

"thanks" Maya says she gets a call. "hey Shawn happy birthday"Maya says through the phone. "yeah of course whats up" Maya says which gets Sofia stop packing and listening. "wait seriously" Maya says "yes omg yes thats totally alsome" Maya says. "yeah actually I have the best place" Maya says "great see you then" she says and hangs up.
"girl what was that about" Sofia asked. "before you leave can you help me with one thing" Maya asked. "yeah of course " Sofia says. "great let go" Maya says and the two leave. "where you two going" Katy asked. "emm shop grab some last stuff" Sofia says. "oh great thanks girls" Katy says. "thats what were here for lets go" Maya says and the two leave.
"ok so where are we going" Sofia asked. "the roof of the apartment building come on" Maya says. "wait what" Sofia says following her. "what am I helping with exactly" Sofia asked. "have you got anything romantic like candels or flowers or something" Maya asked. "no but Laura might she's that type of hopeless romantic" Sofia says. Maya laughs"great ask if we can borrow some love stuff she has for me" Maya asked. "ok girl" Sofia says "what is it for" Sofia asked. "don't tell a soul" Maya says. "I promise I won't tell" Sofia says. "Shawn just asked my permission to ask if I was ok for him to propose to my mum" Maya says. "ahhh" Sofia screams "seriously" Sofia asked. "yeah" Maya says happy. "and your helping with it" Sofia asked. "yeah he didn't wanna do in front of everyone he wanted to make it kinda romantic" Maya says. "ahh cute ok Laura just texted says she has perfect stuff for anything romantic come on" Sofia says and the two head to Laura's to collect the stuff.
they arrive back and decorate everything when Maya gets a text from Shawn. "I'm gonna go get him stay here for a sec" Maya says to Sofia. "got it" Sofia smiles she's never seen Maya so excited about something before guess you can't blame her she thought.
"hey Shawn" Maya smiles "Happy Birthday" Maya says. "thank you Maya" he smiles thanking her. "ok this way" Maya says. "wow girls" Shawn says looking at it "thank you" He says. "anytime no one comes up here my mum doesn't even know about it I use to always come up here it got great view of the city" Maya says. "so it does thank you here the stuff from the shop you got" he smiles. "thanks see you in a few" Maya says. "of course" he says.
they head back. "hey Maya" Sofia says. "yeah" Maya asked. "what did you get Shawn for his birthday" she asked. maya smiles I did sometime ago you'll see" Maya says " ok I'll show you. "a scrap book" Sofia says amazed. "I know it kiddyish but its memeries Mr Matthews helped got people from his past not like ex girlfriends or whatever like friends" maya says. "lets see" she says. "this is amazing" Sofia says "he'll love it" Sofia says them not knowing he was kind of easy dropping. "I hope so" Maya says.
later on the night the Matthews have arrived with Jack and Shawn has also arrived. "this is great Katy" Jack says. "why thank you" Katy says. maya and sofia look at eachother and smirk "ok presents" Cory says like a child. "ok" Jack says and they all give Shawn his present. "maya did you get uncle Shawn anything" Riley asked knowing the truth. "yeah just let me go get it" Maya says going into the room and grabbing it. "its nothing big or good just something small" maya says. "whatever it is I bet its great" Topanga smiles. Maya did at sat back down. "wow maya" Shawn says. "where did you find these pictures" he asked. "well I kinda know these people from your past" Maya says sarcastically. he smirks makes sense he says seeing the writing everyone wrote and the pics inside.

"thank you Maya know one ever done anything like this for me before" Shawn says. "your welcome after all you've done for me" Maya says back. "ok well let's clean up shall we" Katy says. "nah will do that" Topanga says grabbing Cory and letting him help. "hey Katy wanna head outside for a second" Shawn asked. "ok" Katy says and walks outside.
maya and Sofia smile and so does Riley. "we just have to" Sofia says the three girls run to snoop on the two. "omg Shawn" they heard. "I got some help" He says. she smiles so do the three girls they just watch waiting unpatiently for whats about to unfold till finally he asked her all girls gasp even though they knew Sofia and Riley both saw the hope Maya had in her eyes how much this meant to her. they saw Katy nod and says "yes" and Shawn puts the ring on. "ahhh" all three scream with excitement. "damn we blew cover" Sofia says. "lets go" Riley says and the three run back into the apartment. "this is alsome your finally getting the family you always wanted" Riley says. "I know" Maya says as Riley hugs her. "im happy for you Maya" sofia says. "thank you" Maya says and hugs her.
later on everyone got told and celebrated Cory started to work on the bestman speech already and after they left it Shawn stayed abit longer. "thanks for tonight girls" Shawn says. "anytime Shawn" Sofia smiles "it was an honour to have been able to be apart of it" Sofia says. "about that" Katy says smiling. "what" Maya says. "well me and Shawn were talking and we were wondering if you'd like to stay here permontly" Katy says. Maya smiles "do you know what that means" Maya says happily. "no what" Sofia asked. "were gonna be sisters" Maya says "wait you wanna adopt me" Sofia asked. the two nod "omg thank you so much" Sofia says hugging them both. "were gonna be sisters" Sofia and Maya screams with happiness. "oh maya I wanted to talk to you aswell alone if thats ok maybe the roof" Shawn asked. "sure" Maya says grabbing her jacket as the pair left.
they headed to the roof looking at the view of the city in darkness it was amazing. "So had a great birthday Shawn" maya asked. "yes actually best I've had in a long time thats thanks to you" Shawn says. "me" Maya says confused. "yeah you helped alot today and well I wanted to give you this" he says. "but its not my birthday" Maya says. "no its mine and I wanna give you this" he says handing it to her she opens " a charm bracelet" Maya says amazed. "every once in a while I'll add another charm" Shawn says. "thank you Shawn its beautiful" Maya says as she puts the charm bracelet on. "so I was wondering Maya now were adopting Sofia her last name will be Hunter and so would your mums maybe you'd wanna aswell" Shawn says. "in like change my last name" Maya says then realises what he meant and held back her tears "like seriously you want me as yours" Maya asked. he nods "yeah what you say kiddo" Shawn says. maya hugs him"yes omg thank you" maya says. "thank you Maya" Shawn says back hugging her.
maya and Shawn stood there Maya smiles "I'll remember this day for the rest of my life" Shawn smiles "me too" he says as they started to head back.
