Im back!

Kayla's POV
There was hope
Right?
Maybe not
Maybe I was going to be here my whole life
Either way.... I deserve it
All of it
All the pain and guilt.
I just wasn't ready

What had happened,
One day I thought Brenden liked me
The next minute
I'm in jail
Thanks to him.
I can't blame hike thought, if I saw a murder, I would call the police to.
I wonder what's happening at school right now
Everyone has probably forgotten
Just then I hear, "hey, you ok?"
I turn to see the boy who was talking to me the other day
"Um, I mean not really," I say flatly.
"What did you do?" He asks now facing me in his cell.
"I don't want to talk about it, it's something that I'm not proud of," I say.
He looks away and at the floor
Then back to me
"So, what's your name?" He asks me
"Kayla, what about you?" I say
"Corey," he says
Jail was going to be bad
But I was happy to have someone beside me to talk too.
Dad's POV
I wanted her to get out
I just wanted to yell at her
THE KEYS ARE SITTING RIGHT OUTSIDE THE CELL, IF YOU GO TO THE END OF YOUR CELL THEN YOU CAN REACH THE KEYS AND GET OUT!
But I couldn't
I know I know
Your daughter deserves this right?

It was an accident she didn't see me.
Maybe I could give her some sort of sign
I go to the crystal ball in heaven and think

OH, I got it
I decided to make he keys move a little so I place my hands on the crystal ball and say
"Let the keys move,"
I watch the crystal ball
Then I hear the keys move
I look back to see Kayla
Glance over at the end of the cell
Then
She stands up.
Brenden's POV
I still never told my parents that I was the cause of her going to jail.
Ugh, I have to get my mind off of Kayla.
I'm sitting in biology not paying attention to what's happening.
"Brenden, what is the answer?" My teacher asks
I snap out of my thoughts and back into reality
Oh no
I had no clue
Just take a guess Brenden.
I command myself.
"Uh... Umm, chemical reactions?" I stutter.
"Correct," my teacher says
WHAT? that's impossible
I wasn't even paying attention
Must have been a lucky guess.
Bringgggg bringgggggg
I look at the clock and see it's time for lunch
Finally
The only part of the day where teachers can't ask me questions and I can think all I want.
when I enter the cafeteria, everything goes silent
People stare and give me dirty looks
Why are they mad at me?
I guess they wanted a murderer on the loose.
Ignoring them I stand in the lunch line
When I get to the area to pay one of the lunch lady's says "good job"
I look at her and say "excuse me?"
"You heard me, good job," she says not even looking at me.
I grab my tray and find my friends.
"Hey guys!" I say putting my tray on the table.
"What are you doing here?" My best friend Alex says.
"What do you mean?" I ask
"Go away," he says moving my tray.
"What?" I ask
"I can't believe you would do that to Kayla, you knew I liked her!" He says
Everyone at the table is silent and just lets Alex talk
I look at my other friends faces and I can tell that some of them feel bad for me, agree with me or completely hate me
Most of them have the get the fuck lost kind of look.
I take my tray and find a new seat
Away from everyone
I sit down and a tear escapes my eyes.
I knew I shouldn't have told the police!

Five minutes into lunch and the cafeteria is silent
Which never happens
All of a sudden
"Ahhhhh your back!!!!!!!" Anna screams
I turn around
Who's back?
Kayla's POV
I fling the doors open and I'm facing everyone
Silence
Were they shocked
Scared
Excited?
"Ahhhh your back!!!!" Anna screams
She rushes up to me and wraps her arms around me
I scan the crowd looking for Brenden
I spot him and stare
He turns around and stares at me, his expression. Priceless
He stands up and I let go of Anna
"What are you doing here?" He asks
"I escaped," I say proudly looking at the crowd who is watching me so happy
"How?" Brenden asks confused
"There was some sort of sign, I heard keys move and I saw them sitting on the floor," I say.
"How did you reach them?" He asks
"They were on the ground," I say.
"Go back!" He yells
"Don't kill me or come a closer!" He screams backing away
"I'm not going to hurt you," I say looking at Anna who's standing there mouth wide open.
"Did you hear me? STAY BACK!" he finishes leaving the cafe
