Kayla's POV
It's morning
School
Friends
Homework
No excitement
No comment
It's not like I was worried, I was just nervous
Hopefully no one knows what had happened
I hope in my moms blue Toyota and dig for my phone in my bag
I haven't checked my phone for what feels like months
I see my diary sitting on top of my binder and I find a pen and write
Write what's in my mind
Not much but
Enough
Entry #3
Hello, it's me again
So not much has happened
Right now I'm in my moms car and I'm heading to school
I just wish I could be done with school
Like I don't ever have to go back
But I'm only in grade 11
My mom has gotten really depressed and every time I mention dads name she just bursts out crying
I feel so bad but I can't do anything about her crying
It's been 2 weeks since I had killed my father
I'm glad no one has found out but eventually I have to confess
I don't want to but
I have to
Omg, I almost forgot
Last night before I went to bed, my mother came in and told me that we may move
I didn't want to
My best friend was here
It wasn't official, which I'm glad for
Well I'm at school now so gotta go
Speak soon
Kayla❤️
End of entry 3
Brenden's POV
I shut my locker door and make my way to Math
I hated math
Probably my least favourite subject
Before I can even start walking I bump into someone
Just great
"I'm so sorry!" I say standing up.
"No it's my fault," someone says
We look at each other and I relieze that it's Kayla
"H-hi," she stutters.
"Hey!" I say overly excited
"Wait aren't you..." Kayla says
"Brenden Saunders," I interrupt
"And your..." I ask
"Kayla rivers," she says our eyes locking
Kayla's. POV
It's Brendan
That neighbour who was always in my space
I don't remember seeing him at West height last year
Maybe he transferred
I decided no to ask
I had to get to class. But before I go I ask
"So what class do you have?"
"Math with Mr. Martin," he says looking at his schedule.
"Me too," I say laughing
We walk together talking the whole way there
This was going to be a very fun year!
