What I was running from

"Lothal," Morgan mused, frowning at the planet below.

"Home sweet home," I said wistfully. I look over my shoulder and saw Kanan gesturing at me. I walked over to him and he shut his door, starlting me a bit.

"Ezra, don't get attached. She isn't here to make friends and neither are we," he said it in a half-commanding, half-pleading.I frowned.

"Oh-kay?" I said, and then walked away. Jeez, what's his problem? I walked into my cabin and plunked on my bunk. Then, not getting comfortable, I headed u to the cockpit. Hera sat in the pilot's chair and I swung into the other chair.

"Hey, do you now what's going on with Kanan?" I ask Hera. Hera shifts uncertainly.

"Ezra, honey," she sighed. "He's just looking out for you," and she left it at that. She wouldn't talk after that. I tried to get more out of her. Her quote: 'Ezra, you can't Jedi-mind trick me, I've trained myself to resist it.' Karabast. (A/N 'Karabast! Karabast!? What does that even mean?!!!!- Agent Kallus. 'Right now, it means your heavier than you look!!' -Zeb. If anyone doesn't know what I mean by that, watch 'Honorable Ones'.) I swung the chair again and tried not to look irritated. We landed in the plains of Lothal and the rest of Phoenix squadron came in. They started to build the base, as me, Kanan, and Morgan headed into town.

Morgan kept her head down, and every once and a while I caught her stealing from a shop. Good. She's getting the hang of the ins and outs of the city. Although....something was following us. Or.....someone....

Morgan looked to her left and stopped short. She lifted her gun slightly and tilted it towards the alley.

"We're gonna have trouble," she whispered and I frowned. I followed her gaze and watched as two people raided a girls knapsack.

"Maybe we won't," I said hopefull and then I realized what she meant. My hope sank as she moved towards them. Kanan had noticed what was going on and groaned.

"Can't she just leave them alone?" He asked me and I shrugged. We watched as she saved the girl and raided the raiders. Funny. She's definitely getting the city. We walked a bit further and Kanan stopped.

"Here," he said, abruptly. "We're stopping here," he turned to Morgan, nodded at me and then started heading back. I turned to Morgan. Morgan raised her eyebrows.

"Well," she stuck out her hand. "So long, Ezra," she smiled at me. I smiled back and shook her hand. The moment our fingers left, a static electricity flowed through me. I flinched and we both wretched away from each other.

"What was that?" Morgan asked, wrigigling her fingers. I shrugged and shook my hand.

"Dunno," I said and then turned slightly. My confusion faded and my heart sank. She's here. Why is she here?

Morgan screams as the Sevventh Sister rises from the shadows. Ezra jumps into the action and they start to fight. The Seventh Sister raised her hand and forced him to the wall.

"Urk!" Ezra gasped and fell to the ground choked. The Seventh Sister turned to Morgan, but Morgan was long gone.

Where could she be?
