No alarm. No Jace. No cold water in a bucket about to be thrown upon me. So, either I skipped school or it's Sunday. Thank God, I can't take school anymore even if I wanted to. Yet, I can't go back to sleep so I get up and walk out of my brother's room and into the kitchen. I walk barefooted on the cold, tiled floor towards the White-Out colored refrigerator. I open the refrigerator door and grab a 1/2 pound of thin sliced American Cheese, a 1/4 pound of thick sliced Boars Head Ham and a tub of butter and set them on the counter.
I close the refrigerator door gently so I don't wake Jace up. I open the bread box and grab the loaf of white bread that's in there. I then take out six slices of bread and put the bread back. I go into the top cabinet near the sink and grab three plates. I set them all the on counter and open the butter. I put the bread slices on a plate and then get a butter-knife from the drawer left of the sink. Then begin to spread some butter on one side of each slice of bread. I take out a pan and put it on Medium then begin to make my grilled cheeses.

"Wakey wakey there's no bakey!" I yell in Jace's ear.
"Huh? What time is it ?" He asks, his voice hoarse.
"Like ten o'clock. I woke up like twenty minutes ago.....and I made food." He shoots up, sitting up straight, eyes still closed. He opens his right eye and looks at me.
"What kind of food?"
"Food food. Now get your lazy ass up and come to the kitchen!"
"Fine" He says closing both his eyes an yawning. I walk out of my brothers room, for yet the second time this morning, and into the kitchen. Jace follows suit.
Once we reach the kitchen, Jace takes one look at the food and drools. No, seriously he drooled.
"Yours is the one with two." I tell him.
"I'm alright with that."
He immediatly sits down and begins eating, quite savagely might I add.
"Piglish child." I say before eating my grilled cheese.
"Say whatever you want I'm hungry so I don't care." He says.
"Chew your food first damn it!" He opens hhis mouth.
"I lost my appetite." I say and put my half-eaten grilled cheese on his plate.
I get up and walk to the livingroom. I sit on the couch and turn the tv on. Cartoon Networks "Teen Titans Go" is on. I love this show.
"Hey, can I have Maxie over?....Yes?...Okay I'm gonna call him."
"Whatever," He replies.
I get up from the couch and go get the phone. I dial Maxie's number and listen to the rings waiting for him to answer.
"Y'ello?"
"Hey my boo thang." I say jokingly.
"Hey babe, what's up?"
"Jace and I wanted to know if you wanted to come over and hang out."
"She wanted to know I didn't!" Jace yells in the background. He laughs.
"Yeah, sure. Let me get dressed."
"'Kay see you in a few?"
"Yeah, bye lovely."
"Bye babe."
"He's coming over." I sit back down and hear Jace put the plates in the sink. He joins me on the couch. He smiles mischievously at me.
"Nerf gun tag team?" He asks.
"Oh, yeah." I say. We high five each other. We make a sign that says Get Ready and place it by the door. Then we "man our battle stations". We grab the walkie talkie's before we leave.
"Over and out?"
"Roger that. Over and out
