Dean didn't usually cry, but he couldn't stop the tears from falling down his cheeks. Despite his bad boy cover he usually got way too attached to people. That had happened with Lisa, his now ex-girlfriend. They had been together for over two years and Dean could say he liked her, if not loved. So it was natural that his heart nearly broke when he found her making out in the janitor's closet with Zachariah.

Dean had been so focused in running that he didn't realize he had been going towards the city's library. He looked at the big building, his vision blurring a little due to the tears. He thought of going home, where his family was waiting for him, but ended up going inside the library. He looked at a clock in one of the walls, it was past nine. He looked around and found out in relieve he was basically the only one in there.

Slowly, Dean walked past lots of books and tables and finally sat down in a puff in the furthest corner of the library, where he just started sobbing quietly with his knees pulled against his chest.

"Are you alright?" Dean heard a soft voice ask him. He looked up and found a boy around 16 years old with big black glasses, a blue sweater, a white bottom up and black pants. Dean was sure he had seen the boy before at school a couple times as they both had some classes together, but he didn't remember quite well who the boy was. "Hey, seriously, you are worrying me. Are you okay?" The boy said snapping his fingers in front of Dean's face. Dean seemed to snap out of his trance just to fall into another when he looked at the boy's eyes. They were blue, but not just like blue, they were the bluest blue ever and Dean could feel as his eyes literally got lost in the other's eyes. Dean remembered the boy's question and nodded.

"I'm okay" he said but he couldn't keep his voice from trembling a little bit and a few tears from falling down his cheeks.

"You are obviously not" the blue eyed boy said. "You know what? My shift ends in another ten minutes. Wait for me and we can go and grab something to eat. Don't go, okay?" Dean nodded and the boy rushed away. As soon as the boy was gone, Dean felt the tears streaming down his cheeks again. Dean lost track of time as he just curled even more in the puff he was in and started thinking in all the signs he had received that Lisa was cheating on him.A soft voice mad him snap out of his thoughts, making him look up. The blue eyed boy was smiling at him. "Come on. I know that there's an ice cream shop really close." Reluctantly, Dean stood up and followed the boy outside.

It didn't take them long to get to the store. Once they had ordered they both sat down in a table far away from everyone else in there.

"You are Dean Winchester, right?" Dean looked up from his ice cream and saw the boy with an adorable blush on his face.

"Yes, I am. How do you know?" The blush in the other boy's face grew darker and Dean giggled a little.

"I... um.. I mean, we have a few classes together and... um... everyone knows you and..." the boy just started rambling, so Dean put his hand over the boy's.

"Hey, I didn't mean it in a bad way, I was just curious on how you knew my name." This made the boy blush again and Dean laughed a little. "What's your name?"

"Cas, Castiel Novak" Cas said looking down at the table. Dean suddenly remembered who the boy was. Castiel was in his chemistry, literature, maths and physics class. He was Dean's opposite; a quiet, shy, smart boy.

"It's good to officially meet you, Cas" Cas smiled and finished his ice cream.

"So... Why were you crying?" Dean looked away, feeling how his cheeks started to heat up from embarrassment. "Apologies, Dean, you don't have to tell me. I just want to help" Dean felt kind of bad when he saw the sad expression on Cas' face.

"It's fine, I just found my girlfriend making out with someone else"

"Oh. I'm sorry... I hope you sort everything out"

"Thanks, Cas, but I think there's nothing to sort. Things weren't working, anyway" Cas just gave him a reassuring smile. They kept talking for some more time until Dean felt his phone buzz on his pocket. It was a message from Sam, telling him that their father was worried for him. "Damn it. I didn't know it was so late. Here," he said, taking some of his money, "thanks again. I have to go."

"Oh, okay" Cas said, looking down shyly. "Do you want to exchange numbers in case you ever need to talk?" Dean nodded and wrote down on a piece of paper his number, giving it to Cas.

"I hope we can talk again soon."

He left soon after that, running to get home as soon as posible. Later that night, he received a call from Cas and they talked for quite some time, and then the next day they met at school an hung out at break together, being this the beginning of a sweet friendship that may or may have not become something more.

A/N: I know this one took me a really long time, but it's just that I've been really busy studying.
I promise I will update soon.
