TWO MONTHS LATER
It was the final week of August, which meant NYADA was officially starting for Blaine. The past two months in this place were full of getting used to this new place and life and especially being so close to your friends. If there was anything Blaine underestimated, it was how terrible it was to live in a place so small with people raised very differently. The place was small, really small. In fact it was one big room. Sam and Blaine's room was not a room, but rather a queen sized bed shoved between two walls probably meant for storage. But, a queen sized bed fit perfectly in the area, and with a curtain at the foot of the bed, it made a small but cozy sleeping space. They had to keep their clothes in a dresser on the other side of the wall and change in the big room. Puck's room was located in the corner, one big curtain wrapped around where his bed and dresser and floor lamp stood, similar to a curtain around a hospital bed. The kitchen was wide open in the corner with an old fridge and stove and cabinets, plus a rickety table in the center. The half wall that divided the kitchen from the actual living room was cracking. On the plus side, the living room had two huge couches, one of which Finn slept on, and a huge flat screen. The bathroom was a moderate size too, one bathtub, a sink and a toilet all shoved in a little seven by seven foot room fit for one.
They were all well aware of the closeness they'd suffer through. What he expected was seeing his friends strut around in their underpants and cook and such every night. He neglected the bad parts.
He neglected the fact that Puck, Finn and sometimes Sam were messy people. He found himself on his hands and knees cleaning wet patches and crumbs off the floors and cleaning out the sink. Most of these instances ended in huge wedgies from Blaine, which occasionally led to him getting angry. He neglected the fact that Puck and Sam liked to strut in less than their underwear and walk around in their short towels, only to become quite familiar with his friend's bodies (which maybe wasn't always a bad thing. Until he once again found wet foot prints left behind). He couldn't take all the blame though, according to Puck he could be heard snoring from all over the house and Sam complains of the apparent stickiness left behind on counters and pillows from his gel. What he learned was that other boys could be messy and dirty. However, he also learned the good things they do. Like when Finn does everyone's laundry on the weekends, Sam helps most of the guys with their morning rituals (like when he has to apply lotion for Blaine) and he is always up for joining people in whatever they wish to do. Puck enjoys cooking dinner for all the boys and always has coffee ready for Blaine. The last two months were full of huge discoveries for everyone. Getting used to living in such a close space with so many people is hard, but totally rewarding at the same time. Finally, they had everything down. Everyone's dirty habits, everyone's secrets and bodies. Now, Blaine was more excited to start his morning as an official NYADA student, a different set of challenges all their own. He woke up to the alarm on his phone, carefully setting it off as he sat up in bed. He looked down at his black T-shirt and briefs, before gazing over to his sleeping best friend. Another challenge he neglected. He figured sleeping with Sam would be a cute and wonderful way to go to bed at night. That is, until the many times Blaine wakes Sam up and has to deal with the cranky side of his friend, or when Blaine is trying to sleep and Sam takes all the covers. Either way, he wound up with the covers tonight and looking over he could see Sam all sprawled out and sleeping peacefully. Laying on his stomach he could see Sam's baby blue bikinis stuck right up in Sam's glorious behind. One plus of this arrangement was seeing Sam lay beside him every night wearing practically nothing. He and Sam sharing a bed caused a lot of boundaries to be crossed. Sam had opened the curtain to come to bed quite a few times to find Blaine masturbating and Blaine had done the same to Sam. Blaine had even walked in on Puck once.
Anyway, after being so close to people really left the pair with no boundaries. Hell, all four lost their boundaries. So, waking up Sam at 6:45 with a huge wedgie wouldn't elicit much from Sam. He reached down and smacked Sam's bouncing ass a few times, "Wake up," He whispered.
