1. Five Men and a Baby (William)

Chapter Ten

After that night, we spent our last day in Perth just hanging around the city and then the next day, we already went straight to Adelaide, our last stop for the instore tour. Traveling from Perth to Adelaide is tiring, especially when you have a baby with you. Jayden and I were playing with John when he suddenly said the word that every father would love to hear.

"Da... Da... Dada... Dada..." He said.

"Oh my god Will! He just said 'Dada' to you!" Jayden said excitedly.

"What did you say again, John?" I asked him and he blinked cutely twice and then said, "Dada... Dada..." And he kept repeating that. My heart just melted during that moment.

"Aw.... My baby boy could talk already!!!" I cheered in joy as I kissed him on his forehead.

"Will, you might wanna wear this baby carrier around you so your arms could take a rest." Zach said as he handed me the baby carrier. Wait, where did that thing came from?

"Wait, where did that came from?" I asked.

"Oh. One of our fans from the gig gave it. She was supposed to give it to you but you acted like Houdini. You disappeared instantly." He replied.

I chuckled and then placed John in the baby carrier and then I put it on me. "Looks good on you Will..." Trent teased me. I glared at him, "Ah... Shut up Trent!" I said and he just stuck his tongue out at me.

I sat back on my chair and put on my seatbelt on me. John was smiling at me for some reason and then he started driving his fingers on my face and then he kept pressing on my nose.

Along our flight to Adelaide, I couldn't get Alyana off my head. She's like a melody stuck in my head and that keeps on replaying head. Jeez... I'm not yet even over with Elisa and now I'm starting to eye on another girl!

After that instore tour in Adelaide, we headed back to Sydney and it's surprising that weeks had passed and Alyana's still stuck in my head. And it's also funny because I asked for her number and I haven't even called or texted her at least ever since. I looked over to John on the bed and he was sleeping on the bed with two pillows on each of his side, securing him safely.

I pulled out my phone from my pocket and clicked her number on my contacts...

[Alyana]

"Ah!!! I just miss the smell of Sydney!!!" Amber said as she opened her arms wide as if she's asking for a hug. Amber was from Sydney and this was her first time to go back home ever since she came to Perth to study business. Well, I am from Sydney too but I only came to Perth because my parents sent me off to my auntie when I was 14 years old because they couldn't take my bitchiness to themselves. I moved out of my auntie's house when I was 16 and moved into one of our houses there in Perth, located at Joondalup. As you have known, I have a personal maid, well, I don't really need one but I guess I just need a company at my house, that's all.

And like Amber, this is my first time to come back home from Perth ever since. And everywhere I looked around, all I could recall was bad memories.

"Oh! Mom's already here!" Amber said. "Do you want a lift to your house?"

"Nah. I'm good." I said.

"Alright." She said then we both hugged each other and then she went in the black car and then drove away. Sigh... I wish I had a family like Amber's. I texted my parents a few days ago that I'll be coming home today but I guess they took priority of their mining business over me again like they always do. And I was right, Dad texted me saying that they can't pick me up because they have to attend the singing recital of my little sister, Via. She's a year younger than me. And she's the reason why I became like this.

I would like to tell you my whole life story but that would take me years and take up this whole chapter so I guess I'll just leave that out first.

Suddenly, my phone rang and saw Will calling. I answered it:

++ PHONE CONVERSATION (W-William A-Alyana) ++

A: Hello?

W: Hey Alyana!

A: Will!

W: Oh! So you still recognize my voice!

A: Nah... I just your name on the caller I.D.

W: Aw... That's harsh!

A&W: **laughs**

W: So... Whatcha up to?

A: Oh. Nothing. I just went back here in Sydney, that's all.

W: You're here in Sydney?!

A: Yes. I decided to visit my family before school starts back in Perth.

W: Oh, okay. Are you still at the airport?

A: Yeah and unfortunately, my parents can't pick me up because they attended my sister's recital.

W: Alright. I'll pick you up.

A: No, that's fine Will. Thank you anyways, I can catch a cab.

W: Are you sure?

A: Yeah.

W: Alyana, it's either you'll let me pick you up or let me pick you up.

A: **chuckles** I really don't have that much choice, do I?

W: Uh huh... So... You'll let me pick you up at the airport?

A: Okay. Fine. If you insist.

W: And besides, I wanna catch up with you.

A: Yeah, me too. I don't have anything to do at my house anyway so...

W: Alright. Cool. I'll pick you up in 20 minutes.

A: Sweet. I'll see you later. Bye.

W: Bye.

++END OF PHONE CONVERSATION++

And exactly after 20 minutes, Will arrived. "I thought you're not gonna come." I teased him. He chuckled, "I can keep my word, ya know!" He said as he loaded my stuff into the back of his car. I noticed that he looked a bit different today... He looked more fit than the last time that I've seen him.

"You look a bit different." I told him.

"Really?" He said.

"Yeah." I replied. "You look... Fit?"

"I've been doing some workouts at the gym to maintain my body." He said as he patted his abdominals and flexed his arms in front of me and I just gave him a weird look. "What are you? Some kind of a muscle freak?" I said with a laugh.

"Oh c'mon! Just admit it that I look good in my fit body."

"Whatever Will with a capital 'W'!" I said as I rolled my eyes and we both went in the car.

"Where do you wanna go?" He asked me.

"I don't know. Where do you wanna go?" I replied, mimicking him.

He looked at the steering wheel for a moment and then his face lit up and he looked at me, "I know!" He exclaimed.

"Where is it?" I asked.

"Just wait and see." He answered with a smirk on his face and then we both started to drove away to God knows where he would take the both of us...
