The morning was the way it always was this time of year. The barely-opened window invited the air to come in, filling Puck's room with the cold morning air. As he laid in his bright red briefs, the yellow piping seemingly caught the light and the yellow lightning bolt on his rear end reflected the light shining in. The hair on Puck's legs was starting to stand up as his goosebumps rose. It occurred to him that he should really reach for the blanket that had fallen on the floor sometime during the night. He quickly realized that he had no energy to, until the time on the clock showed him that it was already half past seven thirty. He quickly jumped to his feet from the bed, and pushed through the open door and leaned against the door frame as he peered across the way into Jake's empty room. "Jake?" He called out loud, hearing a reply from his brother just down the steps. Puck walked down the steps, the yellow legbands moving up against his butt as his bulge bounced beneath the childish underpants. He looked over, his own brother clad in a pretty over-sized crew cut sweater and without pants. Puck could just make out the edge of Jake's black bikini briefs. He was hunched over in a chair, eyes deep within a text book. "Hey, you're late dumb ass," Puck crossed his arms. Jake peered over, eyeing Puck as he watched Puck snatch his phone off the table.

"What the hell?" Jake asked, reaching for his phone but having his wrist grabbed by his older brother.

"What did I say? One more late and this is mine." Puck said, looking down at Jake. He'd had a habit since he came back of being rather hard on Jake. The kid was following too much in his early high school foot steps and he wasn't about to watch as no one cared enough about him to give him some tough love.

"Except today is a delayed opening, we don't have to be in for another two hours." Jake said, looking at his older brother with a smug smile, "Can I have that back now?"

Puck released his grip on Jake and tossed his phone over to the kitchen counter. "You can have it back when you finish studying," He stated, opening the fridge and pulling out a bottle of milk. "By the way, what are you studying for?"

"Calculus," Jake shrugged, looking down as he replied and keeping his eyes glued to the text book.

"Didn't you study for that all last night?" Puck raised an eyebrow, pulling out a bowl from the cabinet. Seeing Jake's light nod he pulled the text book back towards the other side of the table.

"Hey! I'm trying to study," Jake whined, before leaning back and sighing, "I'm such a nerd."

"Yes," Puck laughed as he set the bowl in front of Jake and began to pour cereal, "You are."

Jake watched as his brother prepared him the simplest breakfast he could and rubbed his hand face, "I'm just still not getting it. I've studied this all week and I'm just- I don't want to get in trouble for failing today."

Puck laughed as he placed the milk back in the fridge, "Eat up," He nodded. He slid into the chair beside Jake and stared as his brother ate. He noticed the bags under his eyes immediately and leaned forward. "And, you don't have to ace this test, Jake. You're doing amazingly in school and as long as I'm seeing you're doing your best I won't be mad at the grades. I won't take your phone or floss your ass. Well, I mean, I'll still floss your ass but not because I'm mad."

Jake was quiet as his finished a few more bites of his food, a drop of milk sliding down his chin. Puck reached over wiping his chin with the back of his hand before slapping his hand down on his brother's leg. "This is where you tell me you're going to take a break from studying and watch tv or go take a nap or something."

"I'm not tired," Jake said as he stood up to place his empty cereal bowl in the sink. He stretched out his arms, letting his shirt ride up for a few seconds to show his black bikini briefs, riding up even in the front today. "I just feel stressed which makes me feel like a mega nerd."
