"Elena, can I tell you something?" I asked as we sat down to a lovely dinner she made for me.

"I think I know where your going with this dear, but to be honest, as much as it worries me to see my great granddaughter without her father, you need to stay out of it dear. Let him come to the realisation on his own. He's a sensible boy" she said as she placed her gentle hand on mine.

She was such a wise old women. But she doesn't know the Gerard I know. The new man he is. He's changed a lot since she died.

I know him better than anyone, and thats the truth. He needs me to help him. I did it once and I can do it again. Even from heaven. Nothing can stop me.

"I need to guide him" I said to her

"I can't stop you. But dear, don't change his future" she said

I nodded.

I had everything planned out in my head. But it still needed the finishing touches.

John came by to see me.

"I'm sorry Elena, but I need to borrow Ms. Lynz for a moment. I hope you don't mind" he said.

"Don't keep her too long" Elena said playfully

John and I went for a walk.

"Are you still protective over Sean and Julian?" i asked John.

It's been over 30 years since John died, and his boys are fully grown. It's not the same as my 3 and a half year old daughter. But still, a parent is a parent.

"They are my sons Lynz, of corse. But they're men, with families and lives. Neither of them knew me very well at all. I died when Sean was really young, like your little one." he said

"Did Yoko try to abandon Sean?" I asked

He shook his head.

"Gerard left Bandit at his mothers house" I said quietly.

"He'll come around" John said.

"You don't know him like I do" I said

"See, that's where your wrong. I see something in that husband of yours. As does Freddie. He's the next one of us. By the time he's 40 he'll be the next Freddie or Elton. I can promise you that. He has a gift. A gift that your baby girl has too." he said

"You've been watching him again, haven't you?" I said to John

"Your a very dear friend of mine Lindsey. Your life is your family. And so I look out for them for you. Your not alone up here." he said

I hugged him tightly.

See, if you told me before I died that my best friend would be John Lennon, I'd say you were baked. But hey, anything is possible, right?

If only Bandit knew her guardian angel was John Lennon.
