The trip was pretty long, giving everyone time to get to know each other. They didn't make it back to the school until late afternoon and decided to all eat dinner together. They went out to a cute, little Japanese restaurant. They were taken to a private grill room and sat down.
"All of us are in the swimming club at our school! We even compete against the other schools in four different divisions." Nagisa told the girls as he looked at the menu.
"That's really cool. I like swimming." Mason told him, giggling softly as she smiled at him.
"Do all of you swim?" Makato asked them. They all looked at each other and nodded.
"We don't normally swim professionally. At least, I know I don't." AC told him as she rubbed the back of her neck. Rei pushed his glasses up as he looked down at her.
"I think you'd be a beautiful swimmer." He said softly, causing her to blush softly. Haru looked at them before looking back down at his menu.
"What type of swimming do you girls do?" He asked softly, looking at the other girls. The girls exchanged glances before Mason grinned.
"I swim butterfly!" She said cutely as she tilted her head. Emily opened her mouth but was cut off by Mackenzie.
"I swim breaststroke!" She told them, grinning at them all.
"I'm freestyle." Ryan said, glancing at Emily as she sighed softly.
"And I'm backstroke." Nagisa clapped softly and giggled.
"That's so great! You're like us but girls!" He said excitedly. The other boys exchanged glances before they ordered their food.
"Ya know. Nagisa is right. You four who swim professionally could create a girl's swim team at our school." Makato told them with a sweet smile across his face. Ryan looked up at him and tilted her head.
"Would they let us do that? We will be new to the school after all." She asked him.
"It wouldn't hurt to ask the board. And you already have a teacher to support the team." Nagisa and the rest looked over at Ms. Amakata who grinned and nodded.
"I would love to be the teacher to support your team!" She said happily. The girls smiled at her and then each other.
"Alright!"

"Not alright." The principal sat at his desk as he crossed his arms. The group had gone to propose the idea to the principal after school they're first day. "Even if your ducks are in a row for this club, Ms. Amakata cannot be the sponsor for it."
"Are you kidding me? She's already the sponsor for our team so it only makes sense if she could be the sponsor for the girls team!" Nagisa complained.
"Could you make an exception for us?" Makato asked the principal.
"I will not. You can either find a teacher to sponsor you or you can kiss the team goodbye." The girls sighed softly and the big group of friends walked out of the school, heading down the street. Emily jumped onto Ryan's back as AC wrapped her arms around Mason.
"What are we gonna do?" AC asked, looking down with a sad expression. Mackenzie kicked a rock as she walked, shrugging. She stopped as she watched the rock hit a shoe. She looked up, seeing Rin looking down at her. Nagisa grinned and waved at Rin
"Rin!!" He said, raising his arms to hug Rin. Rin was quickly to raise his hand for Nagisa to stop. He shot Haru a small glare but Haru simply looked at him.
"Who are these girls?" Rin asked, looking at the five girls who were all in front of him. Mackenzie stared up at him and blinked a few times.
"I'm Mackenzie..." She whispered, making Rin raise a brow before smirking and chuckling.
"I'm Rin." He told her as he placed his hand on her head. Mackenzie slightly blushed and looked away as Mason giggled.
"We're her friends, Mason, Ryan, Emily and AC." Mason told him although he only glanced at her. He slowly removed his hand, much to Mackenzie's dismay.
"You look sad. What's going on?" Rin asked although it was mostly pointed to Mackenzie. Nagisa stepped forward and smiled brightly up at him.
"We're trying to make a girl's swim team but we can't find a teacher to sponsor us!" He stated before Rin pushed him away.
"Anything I can do to help?" He asked Mackenzie.
"You wanna help us?" Haru asked with a raised brow. Rin smirked softly and ran a hand through his hair.
"I'd love to help such beautiful girls such as yourselves." He said, staring down at Mackenzie. The girls blushed a little and smiled brightly. Rei frowned and pushed his glasses up.
"What could you do to help us?" He asked, crossing his arms.
"I could talk to some of the teachers at your school. My school just came up with a girl's swim team and I'd love to help." He told them. The girls looked at the other boys and they reluctantly allowed Rin to help them search.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
They searched around school and asked every teacher if they could sponsor the girls but each hit was just another miss. The group of swimmers were finally starting to give up some hope as they finished their second day of hunting for someone.
"Maybe we should just forget about it." Mackenzie said softly.
"We can't find anyone..." Mason added with a sad sigh. As they started walking towards the exit, Rin stopped and peaked in their gym. He walked in and saw a teacher shooting hoops.
"Mr. Aishio?" He asked, frowning at the red headed teacher. Mr. Aishio looked at him and smiled brightly.
"Hey there, Rin! Whatcha doing over here?" He asked, walking over to him.
"I'm helping these girls look for a sponsor for a club they want to make." He told him before he brightened up. "Hey. Maybe you could do it."
"Oh no no no. I don't sponsor clubs anymore. That's not on my list of things to do."
"Come on, Mr. Aishio. These girls need a sponsor. It's a girl's swimming team that their trying to create." Mr. Aishio looked at Rin and stared for a moment.
"A girl's swimming team?" He asked.

The next day, the girls were all called to the office, along with the boys, after school. The principal lifted up a sheet of paper.
"Your club starts tomorrow." He stated, causing all of their eyes to grow wide.
"What?! But we didn't find a sponsor!" AC said before Mr. Aishio stepped up to them.
"I'm right here, girls." He said. The girls quickly looked at him and tilted their heads.
"When did this happen?" Ryan asked him to which Mr. Aishio grinned.
"Rin convinced me to be your sponsor yesterday so I came to tell the principal that I'd be your sponsor today." The girls slowly grinned and hugged the teacher tightly as he laughed. The boys simply smiled (well expect for Haru) but felt a pang of jealousy in their chests when the teacher said that Rin convinced him. They were quickly sent out of the office and off to their homes. Mr. Aishio smiled at them before waving and walking off.
"Make sure to get bathing suits so we can practice tomorrow!!!" He called back to them. The girls' eyes widened and then they smiled, grabbing the boys' arms.
"Shopping!!!"
