Late Night Snuggles

*Zims POV* it was a cold winter night I was in my bed covered head to toe with blankets the heat blasting but I was still shivering I knew I needed something else... Or someone else. I slowly climbed out of the blankets I looked at the time
[10:39pm]
Weird I thought I was in bed longer I slowly got up I was already dressed and I walked to the door "Gir I'm going out stay here" I said even though I knew he was broken then I walked out into the harsh cold air I shivered more but I was determined
I walked down the sidewalk and turned the corner I knew exactly where I was going and soon I stood in front of the Dib membranes house I slowly walked up and nocked on the door then waited

*Dibs POV* I was home alone Gaz at her friends and dad... Who knows where he is anyways I just sat down on the couch going to watch my favorite show mysterious mysteries when someone nocked on the door
'Who on earth could that be this time of night' I thought to myself as I stood up and went to the door
'Should I answer it?' 'Dad said not too' I thought as I slowly opened the door

*3rd person POV* "Zim?" Dib asked as he looked down at the freezing irken "y-yeah h-hi c-c-can I c-come I-in?" Zim said shivering
Normally Dib would laugh and slam the door in his face but he felt bad for the freezing irken
"Uh yeah sure come on let's get you warmed up" Dib said with a small smile stepping out of the way Zim stepped in and Dib closed the door behind him "th-thanks" said Zim still shivering
Dib led Zim to the couch "I just put a blanket in the dryer it should be warm now" Dib said not really talking to anyone imputicular "I'll go get it" Dib continued as he walked out of the room Zim sat on the couch feeling a little odd a strange feeling started growing at the bottom of his stomach
Dib soon came back with the blanket and carefully wrapped it around Zim then sat next to him and went back to watching TV
Zim looked between the TV and Dib 'why is this filthy hyuman being so nice to me!' Zim thought to himself as he moved a little closer Dib didn't seem to notice
Suddenly Zim took a risky move he slowly leaned his head on Dibs shoulder squeezing his eyes tight waiting for the worst
Dib took his eyes off the screen then looked over at Zim he was about to say something then shrugged and continued watching TV
Zim let out a sigh of relief and got confutable leaning against Dib Zim took in Dibs sent and smiled softly to himself 'the Dib-stink actually smells pretty good' Zim thought to himself
Soon Dib shifted and slowly pulled the small irken in his lap Zim was a little confused but didn't care he was warm and comfortable
Dib looked down at the small irken and took a risky move of slowly pulling off Zims fake wig Zim shivered a little but for some reason let Dib
Dib smiled softly then got curious and slowly stroked on of Zims antennas
Instead of Zim yelling at him he purred quietly
Dib was a little shocked and gently rubbed again
Zim purred louder and nuzzled Dibs hand Dib slowly stopped and Zim let out a small whine then blushed heavily and barried his face in Dibs shirt
"D-do that again Dib-thing.... Zim commands it" Zim said Dib rolled his eyes but softly stroked Zims antennas anyway he liked the sound of Zims purrs and once again Zim lets out purrs

A half an hour later Dib yawned and stopped stroking Zims antennas to find Zim was asleep... On his lap
Dib blushed heavily then he thought for a minute 'wait he's asleep this is perfect I can finally capture him.... But do I really want too?' Dib looked down at the sleeping irken and a feeling grew deep inside him then his heart fluttered 'wait nonono I can't feel this way about HIM he's... He's an ALIEN a F****** ALIEN... Am I seriously that desperate?' Dib thought as he picked up Zim and carried him to his room then gently laid Zim down on his bed then laid next to him
'I have an alien in my bed' Dib thought as he drifted into a deep sleep

They slept peacefully slowly getting closer until they cuddled
They cuddled closer and closer until their legs intertwined Zims head was against Dibs chest Dibs head resting above Zims their arms holding each other close

Zim slowly woke up and snuggled into the warmth then the thing he was cuddling to made a small noise Zims eyes popped open then slowly looked up at Dibs face Zim almost screamed but he didn't instead he simply slowly got up took out his contracts and put them on Dibs dresser they weren't confutable to sleep with them in then Zim slowly laid back down trying not to wake Dib and cuddled back up to him but didn't fall asleep
Dib slowly woke up halfway and felt a small figure pressed against him he slowly opened his eyes and looked down at the small irken who slowly looked up

*Dibs POV* holy sh!t he's still here oh god what do I do what do I do what do I do "Z-Zim?" I said "yeah" he said so casually like we've been here we've done this
But we haven't ever
"I... Uh.... You fell asleep and uh... I knew you were cold and uh.... I was tired so I just uh...." I said as my voice trailed off when I seen Zim was clearly annoyed "yeah yeah I know Dib-stink it's fine.... I'd rather be here anyways" Zim said looking back down at my chest. Why would he rather be here maybe he's just cold?

*3rd person POV* Dib got that feeling once again deep down in his stomach and once again his heart fluttered
Zim didn't seem to notice but the same feeling was going through him
They say in silence for a moment before Zim looked back up at Dib, Dib looked deep into Zims eyes he could tell that Zim was nervous, scared, and upset

"What's wrong" Dib finally spoke up Zim shifted his eyes around the room a little wondering how Dib knew something was wrong "I uh.... It's nothing" Zim said "you're lying Zim, you can tell me" Dib said

Zim barried his face in Dibs chest and started crying Dib was a little shocked he had no idea why his enemy was crying he didn't even do anything "I.... I lost connection with the tallest I can't contact anyone Girs broken I can't fix him you're always mean to me and.... I can't do it anymore Dib.... Please don't expose me I'm so... Alone... I'm sorry" Zim sobbed in Dibs shirt Dib was shocked his enemy was falling apart right in front of him and deep down he felt bad he wrapped his arms around Zim "Shh shh hey shh it's ok Zim, calm down... Your not alone... You have me" Dib said sweetly Zim cried harder "ya know" said Dib "I stopped hating you a while ago... Maybe we could be friends" he continued Zim slowly looked up tears streaming down his face "f... Friends?" Zim asked
"Ya know like stop hating each other and stop trying to destroy one another... Zim I don't really want to expose you anymore I guess I don't really care that everyone thinks I'm crazy" Dib said smiling softly at the small irken
"So like a trues" Zim asked "exactly... You stop trying to kill me and I'll stop trying to kill you and/or expose you... Ok?" Dib asked
"Ok... I'd like that" Zim spoke quietly and softly calming down all the way then snuggling closer to Dib
Dib smiled and snuggled back and they soon feel back asleep
