Unexpected Love [zadr]

It was like any other day except it was summer vacation and Zim and Dib had become friends 3 months ago. Zim was on his normal rout walking over to Dibs house he was humming a little as he went to the side of the house and looked up at Dibs window he never really bothered or wanted to use the front door so Zim used his medal legs out of his pack to lift him up and he opened the window then swiftly climbed in
Dib was on his computer listening to music he didn't even notice Zim or the window being opened Zim grinned and quietly came up behind Dib the pulled out one of his head phones "hey Dib!" Zim yelled Dib jumped and screamed while Zim laughed
"Zim don't do that, you know I don't like that" Dib said Zim giggled "man that never gets old" Zim said proudly Dib rolled his eyes and started working on his computer again "not today Zim I'm busy" Dib said still working
"I'm still staying here" Zim said as he sat on Dibs bed and looked at the wall that was covered in posters and drawings a few of them of Zim and Zim smiled at those drawings Dib just keep working

Zim eventually laid down on Dibs bed and curled up in the blanket inhaling Dibs sent. Dib was soon done with his work then he stood up and stretched then looked at his bed he didn't see Zim all he seen was Zims wig and contacts on the floor and the blanket in a big ball on the bed but it didn't move
Dib shrugged and slowly unwrapped the blanket and found Zim sleeping
Dib didn't really know what to do 'should I wake him up?' 'Or let him sleep and do something else' 'maybe join him' Dib thought then without thinking he laid down next to Zim and stared at him

Dib slowly ever so slowly leaned in closer to the irkens face trying not to wake him Dib moved closer their lips almost touching Dib brushed his lips against Zims getting a tingling feeling then finally Dib kissed the irken little did he know that Zim was awake Zim didn't freak out he let Dib kiss him he didn't kiss back but Zims eyes where wide open
Dib slowly pulled away and blushed heavily when he seen Zim was awake, Zim grinned "what exactly was that Dib-thing" Zim purred "I um that uh I... That was a um... A kiss" Dib stuttered "and what exactly is a kiss~?" Zim asked knowing the answer he looked it up long ago "it's... It's something that... Humans do... To each other... To show l-love" Dib struggled with words Zim only grinned more "and do you "love" me stink beast~?" Zim asked

long awkward silence came between them

"Um... Actually I um... *mumbles* but your an alien and I'm a human and we were-" Dib said before Zim interrupted "do you "love" me or not Dib-stink I don't have all day" Zim said clearly annoyed "um... N-no?" Dib said "then why'd you kiss me?" Zim asked

Without thinking Dib smashed their lips together this time Zim kissed back then Dib pulled away after a while "because I love you, Zim" Dib almost whispered

"Guess what Diblet" Zim purred "what" Dib asked quietly

"I love you too" Zim whispered before kissing Dib again
